DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE WINDOW WORLD FOR YOUR WINDOWS!
This will be what I tell to anyone in my neighborhood Facebook group (1,100 homes), social media and anyone who is looking for requests of who should put their windows in.

Your product is great and your salesman was great. However the communication from your office through install is terrible and extremely unprofessional. This has been my experience so far and I still do not have clean windows or correct windows.

• September 22, 2022 – Appointment with WW salesman and signed contract for all windows to be replaced, front door and back French doors
• January 3, 2023 12:00 pm appt time for window installation
o I called before the appointment to ask how many days since they were starting mid day and was told it was quick and would be done in one day so I scheduled for ADT to come later that week to look at security system to make sure all in working order and scheduled painters to paint the new trim on the windows as well as the doors
o My husband was there when they arrived and I got there about 90 minutes into them starting. The wrong windows were being installed so I called the corporate office and was told that yes, WW had sent us the wrong windows but they would install the ones they had then when the correct ones come in – they will come back and do it all again hopefully in a couple of weeks (now I’m being told it’s more like 8 weeks but this misinformation seems to be a them with this entire experience)
o Rain came in around 4:30 so they put the remaining windows in our garage and left for the day
• January 4, 2023 9:15 am – I called WW to confirm when they would be coming in as the rain was ending that day around noon. The person at WW answered and when I asked her what time/date they would return she replied with attitude “umm when it stops raining…”. I told her we also have jobs we need to schedule around as well as letting ADT and the painters know of a new schedule so I would need to know a day/time to plan around. She told me the project lead would contact me after he spoke to the install team (he never called). After that one call, the rest of the calls were more pleasant.
o I never heard from the project lead (multiple times I was told I would hear from him and never did, I always had to call the home office)
o Also on this date, as I left for work I went outside and my husband was picking up huge nails left in our driveway by the crew, when I called to follow up on when the crew would return, I also asked that they make sure the crew does not leave debris and nails in our driveway, etc.
• January 5, 2023 the crew “finished” the job. However, tape was left around the inside of the doors, windows were dirty with residue, caulking job around the new doors was beyond sloppy (I can send pics if you would like)
• January 6, 2023 I called to schedule a time for the crew to come back and fix the items mentioned above and was given the date of January 13 as the earliest. So again, I reschedule, painters, house cleaners, and my job
• January 12, 2023 at 3:38 pm I receive a call a call from Window World home office telling me to be home at 9:00 am the next day (January 13). I wait until 9:45 and the team had not shown. I called the home office who then called the crew. The crew then called me and said they could not make it.
I understand paying for windows, but when you installing windows is costing more money, time, etc. than was originally scheduled we have issues.

To add to the fun, I will get to do this all again with you when you get my correct windows and they have to be installed.

We waited almost a full year for them to finally install a partial order in Aug. 3 of the windows they installed have cracked glass, 2 have clouded glass. A few of the windows won’t lock. We were told they were going to be back within 2 weeks to replace the all the damaged windows. That never happened. We still have not received our sliding doors we ordered and now it’s been over a year. We have made at least 20 attempts to speak with the GM of the West Palm Beach store and not once has he returned a call. We will be contacting the attorney General of Florida and filing a complaint. We have them 12500 in October 2021 and they have completely ignored all attempts to speak with them. We want our money back and want to hire another company to finish our window project.

– still waiting for our order from 6/6/22 and to schedule appt with installers.

– Brian Michael Tillman is the franchise owner and has not returned our calls. Very unprofessional.

– Nicole Sylvester and Sanford, Florida office have not responded acceptably or professionally.

Just want to install these windows and sliders. What can be done to get this order now and schedule installation?

It is hard to believe that this is the same company (in Dothan Al) I first dealt with 3 1/2 years ago. It now receives a failing grade in both professionalism and accuracy of ordering. To start with the order was wrong in that it did not have the obscure glass I wanted and paid for. They went ahead and installed what they had 5 months to the day from when I ordered and stated it would be 4 weeks for the correct glass to come in. I am 5 days shy of 8 months now and still waiting… But by far what has been most frustrating is the total breakdown in communications, everything from a wrong email link sent to a total lack of following up to phone calls and mostly text messages with answers. Out of desperation I even reached out via text to the original installer a while back and the results has been the same. I can’t help but wonder if what they had was finally scheduled to be installed only because I physically stopped in the office. All of this over just one window – really sad.

I don’t know if anyone has ever done business with Window World… but they are awful…I ordered windows in November, was told they would be in in April. They came in May 12th. A install tech came May 25th, after about 2 hours and the manager showing up, I was told all the measurements were wrong and they cannot fit any of windows… ok. Not the tech’s fault, and I was told the salesman had already been let go because this was a regular thing for him…. after the manager looked around, I was told they could install some of the windows (even though I was just told all the measurements were wrong) so they installed 7 of my 11 windows (and a shotty job to say the least, the locks dont work right) and said the Accounting dept would be in touch in a week or two… over the past 6 weeks I’ve left at least 10 voice-mails, with no return call. I started calling back to back this morning and finally got a very exasperated woman on the line who said my windows should be shipped in September… but a tech would be out to look at my windows tomorrow since they don’t open/shut or lock.

2 months later… window world is still not worth the trouble they cause… after an hour or so on the phone, I was told my windows had an estimated ship date of today and they should be installed in the next week… and the tech that came out back in July said the windows installed were done poorly, so I’m having another tech come out again… too much time and money has gone into this… maybe I should just have them drop the windows off and I’ll install them myself… I’ll probably do a better job 🙄

I have been waiting for my windows for over 8 months. This is the worst company to deal with. The local owner Chris Lutz here in Tucson has NEVER returned my 40+ calls (I’m being nice about the # of calls) Come get your windows and put mine back in. I was told that my window for my kitchen “fell off the truck” and should be here in 2 weeks, that was months ago. Seriously

    I’ve been waiting 1 year. I basically get the same excuses. One window was broken, not enough coil stock, salesman forgot to order one window. No one keeps you up to date. They have had my deposit of over $15,000 for one year. I could have been collecting interest on that money. Last person I talked to had such a bad attitude I hung up.

There were MANY delays with receiving both my windows and doors. As of March 2022 I received 1 of 2 doors ordered (the first individual they sent out measured the wrong door and submitted incorrect information per Window World). When they installed the door they had it didn’t have a final piece for top of the door so its just wood in its place and there was no screen for the door. They ensured it would replace the missing parts within a week. They did not have the 2nd security door at all. In January they installed 10 windows and the latches on a couple are already malfunctioning. I have spoken with the manager, Hakeem, who apologized and promised to have everything repaired ASAP. As of today no resolution or replacement of parts after many calls and speaking with Rajh the account manager. I have requested a full refund on my 2nd security screen door. I have not received a call back from either or my refund. I have left messages with no return call. I have a lifetime warranty on all items and they seem to not be adhering to the warranty they pushed which encouraged me to have them do the work. I am requesting the $2500 deposit back from the door I never received and the money from the incomplete door $1095 plus the defaulted windows. This place GUARANTEES if you’re not satisfied with their work they will refund your money. This has been a challenging experience.

I have been trying to get help with the windows that I purchased from Window World, I have a life time warranty, two of the was no good, but installed anyway, several people from window world came out and said they was ordering new windows and tracks. I’m on a fixed income and really need fixed. Been calling for three years. Spoke to at least eight people from there.

Beware when buying these windows. They advertise a lifetime warranty. My mother & I both had these windows installed at 2 separate addresses and they tried to tell my mom that it’s normal for the rain to come on the inside of her house. In the meantime, they sent a representative out to try to convince my mom that it was condensation. She even had a professional contractor that told her the problem was her windows. My question is … how is that normal? The office secretary and the representative were both down right rude. I will highly advertise the verbal abuse to my 90 year old mother, their rude staff, to their so called warranty! What’s the use of a warranty from a company that won’t back their product?

I have been calling and calling my local window world in Volusia County, FL and no response. I have a window that has been wrong since installation. A week ago I opened the window and the whole bottom part of the window fell out and won’t close. It is winter and I have a window that won’t close.
Worst decision ever going with window world. I am hiring an attorney and requesting my money back, so I can go and get windows from a different local company. Window World and there warranty and customer service is joke!

Buyers Beware! They advertise lifetime warranty but what good is that when they install the wrong size sliding glass doors and don’t make it RIGHT? They use ever reason in the book…how do you install 100″ slider into 107 1/4″ opening with problems from the beginning 02/2020 my other slider is 75″ opening and they installed a 70″ door. Obviously can NOT read a measuring tape but the burden is on us! This company all the way from the top at corporate (didn’t even have the decency to answer my concerns just pass the buck to local here in Panama City Beach) I then reached out to the manufacture (who now will not answer my last 2 email) in hopes for answers as well to include 5 windows making a howling sound the rep did come out but also took ZERO responsibility for their faulty work!!! They blamed the windows at first on my soffit, then caulking, missing plugs then asking me to put cotton in the window weep holes and back to caulking. This company is a total disgrace at our expense!!!! How many times should a company get to try to fix something that is not fixable? Just sickening!!!

    Ms. Barker, my sympathies. I am experiencing some issues as well it’s been 6 mnths and I have not gotten my window or patio door, no one calls with a status; you call and then they say somebody will call you back and dont, I just contacted corporate today and not so sure that they was concerned. We shall see. FYI: contactyour local news station to assit w/there trouble shooters department if they have one.
