Sir/Madam,
For the first time in three years, I was able to fly home to visit my family in the U.S.
As I was flying back to Switzerland, I stopped at Legal Sea Foods Counter at Logan
Airport on July 20. Not wanting a heavy meal, I ordered a Caesar Salad. When I received
the salad, I noticed that the lettuce has black edges on it and told the waitress. She took it away.
Therefore, I ordered a cup of Clam Chowder.
My primary reason for sending you this message is that this is the second time this happened
to me. To say I was again disappointed is an understatement.
I remember as a young girl going to Legal Sea Foods with a note and money in my hand to
buy fish when Legal was a fish store, and also knew when the first restaurant was opened next
door. I have always been a fan of Legal Sea Foods, but so disappointed in my two recent
experiences. Yes, I know Legal Sea Foods is primarily for fish dishes, but if you have an item
on the menu, it should be edible.
