  • Lucy says:

My family has talked to visiting angels many times. There seems to be a major lack of communication between visiting Angels staff and the people who employ them. I’m not so sure the caring attitude they display is a true portrayal of the company. I’ve had problems finding the correct help from the company. My 95-year-old mother does not drive. However she was sent a caregiver that did not drive. It’s understandable that someone of that age does not drive. The reasons we need help she cannot drive she has doctor’s appointments nearly every day. My mother also has hearing problems. I can’t understand why the help that is sent to her house does not speak plain English. It is very important to communicate the needs of the elderly. I would not recommend this company.

I called the San Antonio Texas office and was explaining my transportation needs and one minute am told about scheduling a home visit then am cut off after not being allowed to explain how to charge a different card for services on the day of service and was hung up on and people here at corporate refused to address this I feel that visiting angels doesn’t care about helping anyone like the commercial says and should stop lying to the public

I also find this to be true. The ” caregiver” even brought her sick child to my 95-year-old mother’s house. It’s so wrong!
