About Tuesday Morning, History and Headquarters Information
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Tuesday Morning was launched in 1974 by Lloyd Ross. The idea behind starting this company was to put the leftover inventory of the big brands on a sale. He had a belief that Tuesday was the first positive part of every week. From a garage sale in a rented Dallas warehouse to 441 stores in 2001, it expanded to 41 states by that time.
Tuesday Morning is a retail chain that specializes in domestic as well as international closeouts of medium to high end name brand gifts, soft home, home furnishings, housewares, luggage, toys, seasonal items, gourmet, gifts, bath and body, bed, craft, dining, kitchen, furniture, fashion accessories and products. As of the current date, there are more than 5001 to 10000 employees working at the company
They provide all high-quality brands such as Lenox, Denby Pottery, KitchenAid, Cuisinart, Steinbach, Wedgwood, Reed and Barton, Breville, Madame Alexander, Peacock Alley, and Royal Doulton, among others in an affordable range. This company has been operating more than 800 stores all around the country with the mission to deliver fresh and regularly updated assortments at extreme value pricing.
I am so sorry that the Canton Michigan store is closing. It seem like all our Tuesday Morning stores are closing in Michigan. I enjoy shopping at the smaller stores that have quality products.
Too bad they don’t watch their managers, because they treat their employees terrible! Steal your hours, no breaks, EVER, always uncertain of your schedule, no fun allowed.
She was stealth, left without a word and returned same. Causing PTSD, sometimes saying she would not be in, only to show up! Awful
Love Tuesday Morning! Just wish you would open a store in the Burbank/North Hollywood area. Now that the entire North Hollywood shopping district is being revitalized after having been practically abandoned/non existent after the Northridge earthquake, maybe you guys can bring in a Tuesday Morning to the community?
You should look into putting a store in Niles, OH. To get to a store I must make a trip to Niles, twenty minutes away, or go to Pennsylvania, thirty minutes away. Niles is the major shopping area for this area. The main draw is the Eastwood Mall. It is true the usual craft stores are here, but they are very overpriced. This area isn’t the richest area, but a “discount “ store is always appreciated. For anyone in this area, going to the two stores we have to choose from is very inconvenient.
I went to the Tuesday Morning on Saturday, August 24th, I was the first person there when the store opened. I wanted to purchase the “My Pillows” that were advertised in their ad that started that day.
I was told that they didn’t have them and probably weren’t getting them, that the only store that received them was the Midland park store and they “got like 3” . What a bunch of false advertising!!! You shouldn’t be able to put items in your ads that you don’t have in stock.
I went on Friday, March 22, 2019 to the Tuesday Morning store at 115 North US1 Highway in Tequesta Fl. I’m sorry to say it was the messiest and dirtiest store that I have ever been to. I really didn’t want to stay there.
I love my neighborhood store at 2505 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm beach, Fl. The store manager Jeannie is fabulous Always friendly and helpful. I find I spend 1-2 hours looking at things when I go shopping. Thanks for great products.
