My mother fell on 9/14/22 at Traditions of Smyrna because the fire doors were closed. She tried to get through them and she got caught in between them. She hit her head and landed on her hip and back. She was taken by ambulance to Stonecrest where they did a CT scan and X-rays and sent her back to Traditions saying everything was ok. I could tell she was struggling but thought it was just soreness. She also complained about her head hurting On 10/1/22 she threw up all night and Sunday morning she was still throwing up and could hardly walk so we called another ambulance and they took her to St Thomas Rutherford were they did a CT scan and said she had a brain bleed. Surgery was performed on 10/7/22 and she was released to Life Care of Hickory Woods Rehab facility for two weeks. We came back at Traditions on 10/27/22. On 11/3/22 she went to her back doctor and they did X-rays of her back and compared them to the X-rays 3 mos ago and sent her for an MRI and we received results today. She has a new fracture at L4 but we do not want her to have another surgery. I have requested to speak to someone at corporate but have not heard from anyone. Sharon Smith daughter and POA
