About Tops Markets, History and Headquarters Information
Tops holdings LLC is the one that owns Tops Grocery store. They offer what people want while saving them time and money. They strive to give customers a shopping experience that is unique, working hard to ensure that every need is met while at the same time offering convenience.
It began in 1920 when Ferrante Castellani moved from a village that was away from Rome, Italy and came to Niagara Falls in NY. There, he opened his first grocery store. Later, his sons, Alfred and Armanda took over the business and went ahead and opened two more stores under the business name Great Bear Market.
In the 1950s, Armanda met with the owner of Buscaglia Equipment Company Thomas Buscaglia and they partnered to form Niagara Frontier Services. Due to the great passion that Armanda had for food, his community and people in general, he had great ideas that he came up with an idea of starting a food store and that is how Tops came into existence.

saw your latest tv ad. although I am Canadian, I found it kind of offensive, in the way some of the items were put across the screen and repeatedly with different items. They form the Nazi swastika and could be considered a subliminal message. You may want to check into your advertising department and the agency you are using. I will be making a comment to the tv station you advertise on, as well as facebook and twitter.
