I just quit your Fresh Market
    1200 Huguenot rd Midlothian Virginia.
I started the end of July. In my 57 years I have Never worked for a more unprofessional, disrespectful and rude place in my life. Rude not only to their employees but rude to its customers. I have witnessed it in person and was horribly shocked and embarrassed as an employee.
As a deli clerk I was talking to a sweet older woman about a recipe that she was working on and she had a few questions about our food. There were two guest waiting at the counter, which I had already acknowledged. Out of the blue a manager yelled across the deli saying this was “No Time For -Chitchat-, wait on the people waiting.
I, personally am disabled from a stroke and am Not fast moving with only 65% ability to my right arm/hand.
I asked a simple question of how to correctly do something and I was told out loud in front of customers that “I need to get it together and get faster”. I was terribly disrespected and was NEVER PROPERLY TRAINED in their deli to begin with.
The same day I asked a manager how many chickens I should cook and had them turn their back on me and roll their eyes; sighing heavily. I had remarked to another employee about management and their attitude problems, she commented that I should just deal with it, that THIS was the Way Fresh Market was. I will Never promote this store for the way it treats disabled employees and its aging customers and employees.
I have 40 years in the Food and Customer assistance industry with a degree in the Culinary Arts. I have NEVER had a guest leave me feeling unwelcome or “a bother”.
In this store anyway, the customer/guest- Does Not Come First-.
If corporate cares, this and other matters will be quickly investigated and resolved.
    I won’t hold my breath.

I would love to have a Fresh Market in the Ellenton/Parrish Florida area. They are building a mall with Lowes, 5 Below and other stores on Rt 301North. A hospital is also being built in the area so please consider my request. Thank you.

You need to educate your marketing dept.

This was in an email from them : “In Mexico, Cinco de Mayo (the 5th of May) is a minor holiday marking Mexico’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 during the Franco-Mexican War. But here, it’s become a MAJOR EXCUSE to celebrate the vibrant culture and flavorful cuisine of our neighbor to the south.”

For Americans, The REAL significance of Cinco de Mayo and the defeat of the French army is that it kept the French from coming into the American Civil War on the side of the CONFEDERACY. I don’t think we need any “excuse” to celebrate the fact that didn’t happen.

Once again, though, we look like uneducated boors who don’t know their own history.

Rip off ! Why has pimiento cheese gone up from $5.50 to $7.99 when they change the price they never put a new sticker on it showing that it had gone up to $7.99 there’s just no sticker price on it. The price is hidden, the only way you know what you’re paying for this is ask the cashier. Most people never ask that’s why I’m saying you’re getting ripped off they still think they’re paying 550 for it. There are many many other items in that store that are set up this way and that’s why I say it is a serious rip off. Fort Lauderdale Florida store.

I spent over 1.5 hours placing a CHRISTMAS order yesterday directly with FreshMarket on Providence Road in Charlotte. It was supposed to be picked up today with curbside delivery and was canceled at 12 pm today for pickup tomorrow …Christmas!!!!! I called your store and spoke with David the supposed manager who did not CARE and hung up saying I need to call Instacart. I am posting this on Facebook to automatically repost every 5 minutes. Merry Christmas!!’ You ruined mine! David should be fired!!!

I am an employee at the Mandeville, Louisiana store. We have personal lockers upstairs in the break room. We have employees that can’t make it upstairs due to bad knees and or bad back. I am one of those employees.
I have suggested putting a few lockers downstairs for the employees who can’t make it up the stairs. I was told by one of my manager “that’s not going to happen “. I am also a diabetic and have to keep my meds in my car. When I have to check my blood sugar or go take my meds I have to walk across the parking lot to my car to check my sugar and take my meds.
Everyone’s sugar effects them differently, me personally I get very dizzy. So I have to walk across the parking lot disoriented and dizzy to take my meds. If we had personal lockers downstairs it wouldn’t be suck a hazard to take my meds.

Gentlemen: As a produce clerk at the Fresh Market in Mobile, Al, I was preparing parsley when the idea came to mind that offering our customers “Tabouli,” in addition to the other prepared dishes and specialties on the deli could be a best seller. I make tabouli on a regular basis. Although recipes vary, it mainly consists of curly parsley, cracked wheat, tomatoes, mint, spices, cucumber, olive oil and lemon juice. It is healthy and delicious. Please let me know what you think. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Thomas Habib
