About Tervis, History and Headquarters Information
Tervis manufactures drink wares like tumblers, straws, ice buckets and lids. They are known for their double wall insulated tumblers which keeps the beverages hotter or colder for a long period of time. It is because of this technology the founders and engineers Frank Cotter and G Howlett Davis established the Tervis empire.
It was founded in 1946. The founders merged the last three letters of their surnames to form TERVIS. The headquarters is located in Venice, Florida. All the products are still made in the same manufacturing plant. The products include wine glasses, mugs and sippy cups. The stainless steel tumblers of the company is alone manufactured in China.
The company products are quite popular among colleges and universities as they sell the brands through the leading sports league of America like NFL and MLB. They also supply their products to the US armed forces. It is also popular among the adventurers.
