I took my 2012 Honda Pilot into the location at 5122 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa, Florida which is the only location that I use for all oil changes. I was informed that whoever did my previous oil change put in an oversized oil plug and that they did not have my size plug and that they could not do the oil change. I informed them that they did all my oil changes and they looked it up and said that the guy who did it last time was fired and that they will correct it. They did inform me I had no damage to my oil pan. I informed them that if I break down because of an oil problem there would be a problem as I travel to dog shows and will be pissed if I break down with a dog in my car. Personally, you need to check credentials before hiring someone. I will have my regular mechanic check out my car and if there is a problem, and Take 5 caused it, you will be paying for any and all damage. My car is meticulously sound in the mechanics department as I don’t play games with it as it’s my only source of transportation.
Wish I would have read reviews before contracting for them. My engine isn’t blown, but I haven’t been paid the money for the work I did. Had this happened 20 years ago when cameras weren’t everywhere, they’d be forking more money out than they would if they had just paid me. F*《k Take 5
I went to take 5 in Louisiana and they broke both of the housing filter boxes that sits off the motor on my vehicle
Worst customer service ever, my information was not put in the system after a week. Customer service representatives rude and disrespectful. First and last experience never doing business here again!
I usually take my vehicles to the dealership for service, but recently relocated to a different county. I told my wife to take her vehicle to take 5 since it’s not far from our home. A day after the oil change we noticed light white smoke coming from one of the exhaust pipes, so we decided to put her vehicle out of order until we can get a mechanic to take a look at it. Finally to the car to the dealer to diagnose the problem, the certified mechanic at the dealership said that it was way to much oil in the engine, so they drained some of it. 3 days later my wife is driving and heavy white smoke is coming from both exhaust pipes, it smokes up the whole neighborhood. Got it towed to 2 different mechanics and both said my engine is done and I will need a new one. Cost is upwards of $10,000, I called the take 5 and spoke with Logan the manager, that stated he had to talk to another manager Alec. Now neither one is returning my calls. I need action taken asap, this makes no sense you’re suppose to know how much oil to put in a vehicle. My attorney is on standby, I tried to be nice now I’m feed up.
I went to the Take 5 in Pace Florida. They put on my oil filter way too tight. No one not even them could get off. Put me in touch with manager Corey. Cory said he called a shop Express Oil down the road and they were full service and would fix it and he told Paul to bill Take 5. Everyone in the shop while at Take 5 said they have been having this problem a lot. Even Corey said unfortunately it has been an issue with some employees. I go to Express they give me the estimate which is $920 + dollars because they cannot get off the filter – they give me a copy for Corey as well. It has been three days of trying to reach Corey as I want something in writing saying they are paying this bill as promised because they are the ones that caused the situation! Nothing calling corporate, calling Corey, calling the Take 5 here in Pace as well as Pensacola. No one will respond. Is it time to call my attorney? Someone better call me back and fix the mistake that is solely their responsibility. Will also be plastering this all over social media and the BBB. Enough is enough. This started the weekend before last – it does not take that long to respond. I am completely frustrated. Oil filters should not be above 18 torque. This should be common knowledge or training when you hire people!

Over filled my car and didn’t connect my hose back now my check engine light is on. They refuse to help or give management number.
Take 5 on chapman busted my mount for my skid plate on my 4runner and didn’t say a word I had to call back when my skid plate smacked the ground on the highway. Not happy and will be taking the 8 vehicles we bring up to a new provider for oil changes. Super pissed and sending an email. They need to fix it

Hi, just wondering if you were able to find a way to contact HR for take 5? My fiance works for them and is constantly being sexually harassed and bullied by management and other employees.
I don’t like your commercials, can you think of something different than a man pouring coffee all over himself, or a woman knitting sweater to short. That to me doesn’t make sense. I understand you are trying to bring across that’s how fast your service is.
On 8/5/2023 I went into the location in Columbus Ohio on Morse Rd. They changed my Oil so they say but as I wen to leave my oil light was still on. I told the attended and he said it was a sensor so I did not attempt to check my oil trusting them. On 8/15, my car began to knock really loud and I pulled in to my shop and was informed I was 4 quarts low on oil with an oil leak. Before I left the oil change, I ask him did I have any leaks he said no. Now 10 days later no oil return to the 54 minute oil change on 8/15 and the later there informed me she had to fire everyone of the persons there who supposed changed my oil. I just had this engine put in less than 10 months ago and no one else changes my oil but you. Now I am sitting on a repair bill of almost 1000.00 due to your company.

The technician did not screw the oil cap securely, and was left to lose!!!! I got an oil change before I left to go out of town on this Friday. My check engine light came on Sunday afternoon, it’s started smoking, and completely stopped! ALL THE OIL HAD LEAKED OUT OF MY VEHICLE IN LESS THAT 48 HOURS! My truck engine is GONE!
Management at this store is not helpful at all! They are refusing to rightfully take responsibility for THEIR INCOMPETENCE!

I need somebody to contact me immediately!!! This is a very unprofessional corporation! And they need to be sued for the amount of damages caused to peoples vehicles!!

My car was damaged by my hood being blown back against my windshield. Luckily it didn’t break my windshield, but it did cause my hood to be bent on both rear sides. I’ve talked with the manager of #1008 and he assured me it would be taken care of. He said that he was talking with the district manager and they were trying to get me in a shop, to have it repaired. This has been going on back and forth since March 03, 2023. I tried to reach him again only to find out that he had been fired today, July 25, 2023. Thank you Tom for the callback.
My work van was damaged after an oil change. The location that changed my oil did not replace the oil they extracted which led to a blown motor…🤬🤬🤬 I called the location and spoke with two different managers which both said the same thing we’ll look into it and needless to say no ever called back
Next step is Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and then legal action against this company..
I have been contacting and texting back and forth with the New Iberia Take 5 manager on Admiral Doyle regarding damages sustained during my oil change….The person who changed my oil back in Aug of this year tightened my oil plug to much which caused it to break off…I had to pay $260 for towing to a mechanic shop and then another $92 dollars to repair it…Not to mention the $75 it cost to have my oil changed by your store…The manager stated that he would get the damages taken care of and that the check was in the mail….He said that you were going through personnel changes and that it would take 2-3 weeks…This was on September 5.
