Ditto on all the complaints I’ve read.
Company does not hire competent and skilled workers.
The first issue I had was one of the roof workers tripped and broke my skylight and said nothing about it. It wasn’t until our HOA inspector noticed it after the panels were installed. The company tried to say it wasn’t them, but I had before and after pictures to show it was broken during their installation. They finally agreed to fix it, but took two attempts due to improperly measuring.
Second issue was with the roof water proof coating they installed ran down the side of my fascia. They did fix this but it took over a month.
Third issue is after the first rain I have two leaks in ceiling now and have tried for 3 months to get someone out to fix it. They make appointments for someone to view or fix it, but twice now no one shows for the appointments. I’ve contacted Customer Service with no resolution, I’ve been assigned two customer care representatives but nothing gets done. I’ve now sent emails to the Resolutions Department and am waiting for a response, how long yet to be determined.
Here is a copy of my most recent email to my “representative”:
Hi There –
This is the 3rd email in as many months that I have sent you with no reply. My wife has also been trying to contact you for the last 3 months as well.
You reference your boss in the event we cannot get in touch with you. But give no information about how to get in touch with him. I cannot find an email or phone number and when I call Sunrun am placed on hold for literally HOURS!
At this point, we are feeling very ignored and have negative feelings growing about the company. My next step is to send registered and certified letters to the CEO, Co-Executive Chairs (Lynn Jurich & Edward Fenster), the CFO (Danny Abajian), Chief Legal Officer (Jeanna Steele), Chief Experience Officer (Chance Allred), and Chief Field Officer (Chris McClellan).
This issue with the leaks in our ceiling following the panel replacement is now running the risk of Black Mold growing. That will yield other problems that will have to be solved. The longer you do not respond, the more likely this is happening.

Worst company ever stay away from this place
Very poor customer service. Would not recommend this company. Having nothing but problems.
This company is ripping people off. My inverter was BROKEN for over a year. I am on a lease, so they are legally obligated to fix. It took them over 1 year to finally fix it. During that time they continued to bill me monthly. Completely fraudulent charges. Can someone from corporate please get back to me. Or better yet, your legal department to explain how I actually received a bill when the system wasn’t generating ANYTHING.
