It will ALWAYS be this way in parks. They are trained to get through every available legal loop possible. You cannot fight if you want a place to live. It is a legal scam with ALL mobile home parks. Sad day in which we live

  • Guess says:

Horrible they couldn’t care less about disabled seniors. They just want MONEY! I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dead mouse.

  • Brandie says:

I live in Baker Acres in Zephyrhills Florida, and I have never been more disapointed with the way this park is ran. We have been being attacked by theives, and the poor security we have can’t even do anything to anyone they have to call the police. What is the point of paying a company for that service. Our safety is at risk here. We have came together as a community to take care of things ourselves, even though management thinks they had anything to do with it she did not. I hope and pray that none of us get hurt because I promise to Sun comminites it will be the biggest law suit they have ever seen!!!!

  • Rita campbell says:

We just went thru a terrific hurricane and lost everything. Power just came on but tv has not and no one is helping us. Spectrum is not…the office here is not…u can not leave a message. It’s full. Water is still here. Can’t take a shower or wash anything. Can’t flush toilets!!!!! Is anyone going to help us??? This has been going on for too long. We are an older community here. I have no car. I can’t walk. Please help us!!!

  • Melissa Burns says:

Theresa Rutter and her sidekick at Windham Hills are the worst managers ever. When Theresa’s mouth opens, lies come out. I have been harassed since she started here. I am disabled, on Social Security Disability. I am the last person in this place with a ramp. You had better do something with those two before she gets you in deep doo-doo!!!! Everyone here feels the same. Even the corporate headquarters are the same. Promises are made, then broken. I Googled your headquarters, and boy I got my eyes full!!!!

  • Tom says:

We are at Red Oaks Resort in Bushnell, FL. We’ve been here for almost 1 year. Since that time, there’s a new community manager. Many residents are experiencing problems with her. It’s so bad, I’m sure if you send out a personal survey about management you’d get at least 90% negative feedback. There’s no communication what so ever. It’s so bad, that a resident that’s resides here for 20 years, was just served an eviction notice for being a few days late on her HOA payment. Mind you, the resident isn’t even at the park right now, she’s back home in Michigan, until the winter months. Luckily another resident, saw the notice on her door and presented it to her. The fact that there was no attempt to contact this resident, and a decision was made so quickly to evict, is conniving behavior. However, the resident I speak for, sent a Check(post dated) and it was late, and she was not aware that the resort doesn’t except checks anymore. Ok, so evict her for it? This is just one of many things not going well here. I’m also facing eviction at the end of my lease term, because I was late on rent a couple of times and have seen first hand how bias and unprofessional this new community manager is, towards me as well as other guest. She literally told another resident to be quiet when she’s talking. The last and one of the very few times I’ve been at the office here. She’s not friendly at all. She doesn’t make effort or any appearances at resort functions. As a matter of fact, she hired a lovely employee full time to act as the face of hospitality for the resort, because the community manager is far from the face of hospitality. There’s a lot of for sale signs going up here, and many long term residents not planning to come back, since the new arrival of Red Oaks new community manager. Nothing is being done. It’s like no one cares. She does what she pleases and what she does best, is point her fingers and her way or the highway. Don’t just take my word for it. Contact the residents at the resort. I’m sure they’ll have an unpleasant story to tell as well. I’ve spoke with the Vice President of operations for Ted Oaks and she seems to not pay any mind to all the complaints that have been going on here lately. I mean there’s hundreds of complaints. I just have you 1 scenario of how the resort manager will easily send a long term resident on her way without even contact and communication. Like I said don’t just take my word for it. Reach out to the quest here. Most all will sane the same. The residents have had enough. Something should be done. I’d like to be contacted by someone “other” than the community manager, and someone other than the regional manager. Please and thank you.

I would be helpful if we had a second payment to finish off the remaining balance for rent. Also a invoice too.

  • Steven says:

Problems with the referral program? I speak for several members who have referred folks into their respective Sun Communities area. Its been 2 months since closing of my referral and the program’s award check has not arrived. Others have been waiting as well for their award checks, Can anyone in Corporate land get us a status of our existing referrals and when the awards are being delivered to their respective community offices for distro?

  • Guest says:

We rented a home in Toledo, Ohio for $1,199 a month. They keep asking us to buy it, we haven’t decided to because they raised our rent every year. We only been there two years. With Water and rent if we renew it -our rent will be $1,400. That’s crazy you think the people who pay on time you would want to keep, it’s call income. In two more years are rent will go up to $1,600 a month. It’s sad.

    • Guest says:

They hounded us as well. We lived in a community for 8 years. And every year we had to beg to get a renewal. We didn’t have to money to get out due to timing, job loss, C-19 the works. They finally sent us a Quit Notice and we had to leave or buy the piece of crap or a different one. We left. 8 years…now they want to charge us for bologna damages that are covered under wear and tear. And of course no one is answering

  • Debby Coulter says:

we the people of pineview estates flint mich are forced to use the portal and certain fees and assesments being made upon people who are on fixed incomes. My 90 yr old mother wishes not to give out her bank information and prefers money orders and
Sun wants to charge her extra 10.00 cashing fee, she barley gets 900.00 amonth and 419 goes to lot rent and 50.00 plus for water, where does that give her money for her medications and food. Nothing has improved but hundreds of new homes being moving in. Please look into senior price gouging in your community

We have been Winter Texans for 5 years at Travelors World Rv Resort in San Antonio,Tx. Each year there has been a problem with bike thefts including 2 of our ebikes last year. This year several trucks have been broken into including ours!!! We feel very strongly that SUN needs to improve the safety of this Resort by adding a gate and higher fences to at least try to make us safer. First it’s bikes then truck breakins what’s next. Is SUN waiting for something worse to happen. Our resort managers,Brenda and Terry, are great and are trying to protect the park the best they can but they need SUN to step up and help them. Thank you

My wife and I have visited Boulder Ridge three times to talk with the sales staff and get information on available Sites and Home models. We like Site 569 and the Clayton Homes “The Stewart” model. However, to date there seems to be a lack of information and confusion getting details on the Stewart model that was ordered from Clayton. Where we stand now is that we have an appointment set for Monday January 17th at 1pm with Cirra to finally get the exact information as to what features are included such as options, colors etc.

We told Cirra last week on Tuesday, as soon as we know exactly what we are Buying and what the Final Price will be, we will be filling out an Application and making a Deposit. She called us on Thursday to give us a verbal summary of the information she obtained. We then set up the appointment for Monday at 1pm to finalize the Purchase Agreement.

This afternoon, Friday Jan. 14th, Cirra called to tell us that the Sales Price of the Home we selected went up from $157,998 to $182,000.
