Here’s an update, I just received an email trying to walk me through the same steps I’ve done a million times already to no avail. I entered my information but Steam has locked me out. I can not do forget password and when I enter my email it acts as if I was never a customer or ever had an account. If you are really trying to resolve this issue someone could easily give me a call as I left my phone number on your answering service numerous times. Here it is 3 days later and I still don’t have access to any of the games I purchased and my game stats are gone. Since we are still at the same point of this issue, I must say that Steam has done nothing to resolve this issue.
I must say, I am deeply impaled. I have been a loyal customer of Steam and has bought many games over the years until suddenly one day my long standing commitment to Steam gets terminated without cause. Let me explain. I lost my password but have all the identifying information to recover my account which Steam has not yet attempted to resolve. Right now I’ve lost an substantial amount of money and all my game stats totally wiped away like it never existed without a single email stating that someone is working on this issue. All I can say is wow. I have bank statements and credit card statements that prove I was a customer so with that I am being pushed to take this issue as high as I can go with a possible civil suit for very unusual business practices. STEAM GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.
