I Quit the Tar Heel NC plant as an OJT due to personal reasons and now they will not send me my last check. They tried to push me out of a position I worked hard for and now they are not giving me my last check. I went to H.R. but all H.R. ever does is give you the run around and tell you yo talk to the Supervisor that wanted to get rid of you. I’ve been calling for a week about my check and between the Supervisor and H.R. they will not give me the money I worked for. It’s funny to me that they wanted to take my OJT position and make me work as an employee or Quit was my only option and when I quit they don’t want to pay me my money!

  • Rich Hornberg says:

Bought a pork loin at Hy-Vee on Sunday was going to make it tonight and it was all crumbly

  • Mary Carol Barrila says:

I would like to tell you that your sausage links are the best. I have tried many different brands and your product is the one that I would buy.

  • Betty Abshire says:

I lived in Virginia most of my life and was fully aware of the great quality of Smithfield hams. I recently purchased your Boneless Ham Steak to share with my visiting daughter for New Years. One bite by each of us and thee ham immediately went into the trash. We did not even save it for the dog. The texture is TERRIBLE only to be upstaged by the TERRIBLE taste. It is way too salty, and the preservatives included make the ham inedible. I challenge you to serve it to the governing board members and get their response. The quality of this ham is a disgrace to the memory of the Smithfield ham industry. It is a shame to have damaged such a longtime favorite company.

  • Daniel says:

This is some bulshit. I’ve worked there for five years, I had got terminated. I waited five years and reapplied now supposedly I’m not eligible for a fucking rehired. That Tar Heel plants goes to fucking shit.

  • Lisa Hauswirth says:

I am extremely disappointed in your Smithfield bacon there is so much fat it is ridiculous !!! I’ve been eating Smithfield bacon for years . I’ve had a few packages that are terrible I don’t think I’ll be purchasing anymore at $9.99 a package !!! I can’t seem to find a way to send you the pictures I took .

  • Michael hathway says:

I’ve got a wife that has worked at Smithfield for several months now she has been very dependable works days that she doesn’t have to but here recently has been sexually harassed by a crew leader and has told supervisor about what has transpired with nothing done I’ve called where she works and left several messages with no return call. My wife shouldn’t have to be so stressed at work about being harassed. She was raped as a child and should never have to incounter this kind of behavior at work and especially feel like nothing is being done about it I’m asking please call me if there is anyone that can help my number is 910 -316-3788 I really don’t want to handle this my way I’m trying to do it the right legal way but I feel that no one cares

  • Dellta6887 says:

A family member walked out a few years ago and now he’s trying to get back. Well they told him that they couldn’t hiring him because he walked out. That’s ridiculous because they have did it in the passed and that’s not how you treat the people that are trying for a job. This happened in Milan Missouri.

  • P3 says:

The fact they change tags on old meat that has set there for weeks and take new tags make it a new date.As well as having ammonia chloride in the boot washing station and all over the floor. Sure can’t be safe when it’s eating holes in the boots. Does corporate even care???

  • Darrell Laws says:

I am still waiting on my w2 from you guys. The office in Middlesboro Ky said they mailed it out on Jan.1 2022 and I still have not got it. But, my son got his, I guess it’s because he works there.

  • Courtney says:

Who do I talk to in regards to the sign on bonus and eligibility when it comes to the hours because I didn’t receive my $1000 sign on bonus and I just found out it’s due to me not getting the hours I needed between 60-90 days and the only reason I didn’t get my hours is because I caught COVID from the facility.im not very happy…I work my butt off and spend most of my time there and it’s not fair that I don’t get my bonus because I couldn’t work due to covid!

  • Anita Hernandez says:

I bought a Smithfield pit ham for Christmas and was very disappointed. The ham had large areas of thick fat running through it. Will never buy this ham again. I always bought Black Forest ham but was out of stock.

  • Cyn Carrington says:

First I want you to know how much I’ve enjoyed your products through the last 45 years. I’ve always thought I could count on them. Lately not so much. The prices are so high that when I purchase Smithfield thick bacon I expect it to be Smithfield quality. I’ve been disappointed the last few times. The bacon is so fatty it looks like pork belly instead of bacon. I’m hesitant to buy anymore. I even took a picture for you but I see nowhere to post it. Thank you for your time.

  • Larry says:

Your company is price gouging. Your Cooks Han prices have risen over 100% in the supermarkets over last years prices. This is unjustified. You have lost my families business. Thieves!!

  • Melissa Forbes says:

The Human Resources dept. here in Kinston NC are very unprofessional…. My son had tried for 2 weeks to call and email them and left multiple messages about his pay( he was out with covid at the time), he never got a response. He has not received any pay for the last 2 weeks of working because they tell him the checks are in the mail….that was weeks ago. They DO NOT care about their employees ( Human Resources) . My son has bills to pay and they cannot even return a phone call or email! I would expect professionalism from a big company like this!

  • Gil Ford says:

    Hello,

Hope you are safe and sane given the current situation! I know you have a ton on your plate, so I’ll clarify I’m writing this note to help Smithfield Foods address the safety of your employees and facilities moving forward.

The owners of Municipal Parking Services in Minneapolis recently launched Sentry Health to help address the demand we’ve heard from some of the world’s largest companies, including a top beef producer, bank, and automotive leader, proactively stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Given that 25-50% of cases are asymptomatic, our solution “audits” hand sanitation for additional security/liability, while also screening for: temperature, identity/facial recognition with open API’s to link to your current security system for faster adoption. The result? A quick and safe way to safely guarantee you’re stopping the spread and shield liability from COVID-19.

Please let me know if I can send more information or discuss how we can help Smithfield Foods quickly on an intro call.

    Thank you and looking forward,

    Gil Ford

  • G. Smith says:

    Dear Smithfield Foods

    OPEN LETTER TO POISON CONTROL,

    DEAR Poison control,

    Stop going against our PRESIDENT.

PRESIDENT TRUMP said that it is okay to inject or drink bleach and other disinfectants in order to kill the coronavirus.

PRESIDENT TRUMP is telling us the truth.

You are telling us not to listen to PRESIDENT TRUMP when he is telling Americans how to get rid of the coronavirus.

DONALD TRUMP is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

    You are not.

You don’t get to be the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES  by being dumb and stupid.

    PRESIDENT TRUMP is a genius.

    even Trump says he is.

And a genius is very smart and wise and certainly knows what he is talking about.

If disinfectants can kill the disease on the outside,
Then they can kill it on the inside.

It’s true that disinfectants do not taste very good but all you have to do is mix them with juices.

Adding a little raw lemon juice or another citric acid to bleach will make it into a tasty beverage.

Also it makes a great mouthwash.

Before you swallow it just swish it around in your mouth like Listerine or Scope and it will kill any viruses that might be in your mouth.

    PRESIDENT TRUMP IS RIGHT.

    HE IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

HE is the greatest President the world has ever seen.
And people like you and the news media who defy him are traitors.

The PRESIDENT says that if anyone disagrees with him about anything then that is TREASON and MUTINY.

That is what you are  doing.

    STOP BASHING THE PRESIDENT.

PRESIDENT TRUMP will not forget this and when the time comes he will punish you and everyone else who  has defied him.

The news media is also committing mutiny against the PRESIDENT by reporting that trump’s disinfectant statements are not true.

PRESIDENT TRUMP has been warning us about FAKE NEWS for a  long time and this is a good example of it.

NO ONE IS SMARTER THAN PRESIDENT TRUMP.
    HE IS OUR LEADER.

    DON’T FORGET THAT.

  • Demetrius says:

Doesn’t seem like the wilson Nc plant cares about the safety of their employees with the spread of coronavirus widening most employees don’t feel safe being at work around others who are coughing and sneezing especially employees like me who have 2 small kids at home

  • PATRICIA ANDERSON says:

Is there any help for employees being physically and verbally attached and the Peru indiana plant? The new hires are being abused and ran away! HELP!

  • DENNIS LEE WALTERS says:

To whom it may concern I like to know if you mail out coupon’s for you Polska Kielbasa or on any of your meet, If so do you mail out some coupon’s to DENNIS LEE WALTERS
