Rouses Market are crooks! I went in their store to get a simple money order to pay my rent. They charged me for the money order but somehow hit a wrong button and couldn’t provide the money order. But could not refund my money. The employee was new and obviously not well trained. Then they repeatedly charged my card again to the point where my debit card became frozen all weekend and I could not pay my other rents due. This costs me $300 in late fees which the store manager said they would pay. The Corporate home office now refuses to pay and has been extremely rude and belligerent to me! These people are a text book case in how NOT to run a business and treat people.

I shopped at the Rouses Market in Marrero LA 70072. Last week, My wife and I bought Chicken from the refrigerated section , Vacuumed sealed from Tyson , and Rouses pre packed legs with their seasoning on it. We cooked the chicken on Monday Last week at around 6:30 PM after work. I woke up at 3:00 AM with Food Poisoning , Violent Chills and High Fever for 4 days. Worst case of food poisoning my doctor said he has ever seen. I am writing this to your corporate office , to let you all know, your employees, evidently not doing their jobs correctly. I will never shop at Rouses ever again, this is very unfortunate, as I am a Regular customer of Rouses, but to get so sick over the carelessness of your employees , this done it for me. My wife didn’t eat the chicken that I ate , she ate the MFG Packaged Chicken and I ate the re packaged chicken that Rouses put in their on rapper with seasoning, People do not by this product… This chicken evidently sat out and put back in the refrigerator section, that is the only thing that could have happened to get me so very sick. I did call Rouses Last Friday to tell the Manager of my experience, I was left on Hold for 45 Plus Minutes, They didn’t care, Figures.

Rouses market on drusilla lane management is horrible managers dont know how to talk to there employees cussing out your employee is not acceptable on any level just so unprofessional something need to be done about this or you will never keep good hard working people.
