Along with these products, customers can also look through a huge variety of educational toys and games, small furniture and furniture accents, luggage, watches, and sporting goods, and gourmet food and cookware.
ross stores are the worst…I stopped in to see some cheap Xmas garbage, and while I was there, Spanish came over the loud speaker….then the English translation. Really??? We moved to Mexico and no one told any Americans?? Why the hell do you do that?? By doing that you don’t support our country’s language and encourage all the Illegals & Immingrants who flee to this country to continue speaking in their native tongue…If you are a bleeding heart, move to another country!! This is America and people like you give our country a bad repuation!!! Shame on you………..
Hello, I would like to make a complaint on the store manager at the Ross located at 7550 FM 1960 RD W, Houston, Tx. 77070. I’ve worked at Ross off & on since 2007. My experience with Ross has always been good. That’s until the new store manager Diane came. She is the rudest, unprofessional, most racist & messiest manager I’ve ever encountered out of all the managers I’ve worked under. This location has the worst & highest turnover I’ve ever seen. I’ve always thought that a manager should use his or her position to make the business prosper not intimidated people. It seems no matter how we as employees complain bout her & her vindictive ways nothing is ever done. Her attitude is the worst, she takes people off the schedule when ever she gets ready. It’s really her way or no way. And trying to go over her & speak to the District Manager is a no go because they are Besties. People should love to come to work & love what they do. Not come to work & hear what Diane has said about them. Now you can believe that whenever she’s scheduled to work, she’s going to have full coverage. But when it’s another manager shift she can care less & then always has something to say about the way the store looks the next morning. If a associate calls out & they are on the schedule for the next week, she goes in & changes it takes them off or schedule them less hours. She like to talk to people like she has all the sense. She’s going to be the reason Ross gets in to hot water. I put in a change of availability, she told me that she had to deny it because it’s the holidays & I had just put in for a change back in September. Ok Diane that’s why it’s called availability so we can go in & change it when we need to. I ask her who I need to call & speak with bout this matter because I have a new job & she told me she didn’t care who I call, the point was that she denied it.Now what is that to tell someone. Then to tell me that I only work four hours & it serves no purpose because my availability is 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm & I can’t stay pass that to recover the floor. My availability has always been from whatever time to 10:00 or 10:30. No other manager has ever had a problem with accommodating my schedule. But if Diane doesn’t like it, she has the authority to do whatever she wants. As many complaints that had been reported on her I would like to think that they would have been looked into them by now. But when you have the District Manager in your front pocket, well then I guess nothing gets reported to upper management. I need to speak to someone over her Diane & over the District Manager Dianna. It’s a lot of associates that just up & quit because they have no one that they can speak to regarding the disrespect at Ross.We need a union asap. No one should have to be in fear of losing his or her job because one individual wants to always have her way. This is flat out ridiculous. I look forward to hearing from someone regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
An concern employee.
I just recently started working at the Ross dress for less in Fort Worth, TX on S Hulen St. and the store is a absolute wreck. Everything is everywhere and the manager closes the store before it’s closing time. The store manager, managers, and employees don’t care about their jobs. I don’t recommended anybody to work or shop there.
I’d like to comment on the condition of the store in Aberdeen, Washington. Since the former manager Patty Ragar retired the store has gone downhill. It used to be neat and well organized. When I mentioned this to one of the associates she agreed. I find myself shopping at Marshall’s instead of Ross because it is well organized and looks like some thought has been put in the displays. It appears a manager makes I big difference in how your store looks.
Dear Sirs/Madams: I refer to the Ross store located at Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia, GA. I have shopped at this location since you opened there many years ago; however, today (July 14, 2021) I was very dismayed at the trash/garbage conditions out the outside of your facility…seriously, it was pure filth! There were many women standing outside the entrance complaining about the garbage and un-kept grounds. When Inside, I asked to speak with the manager regarding this filthy condition and along with several other women, he said ” I’m not cleaning up the outside until the store manager sees this. This problem is with the people who throw their garbage outside!” When asked why he couldn’t just sweep up all the mess out front into one pile somewhere like the other stores around there have done and he said, “No” , and blamed the community! He has an ‘island’ accent and was somewhat on the rude side since he said that “people are complaining, but it’s not his problem. Imagine putting the blame on the community and I, have as many others have noted on the internet ‘Next Door’ regarding the same store that we’ve always enjoyed a clean environment at this location and obviously, looking at the entire mall area…that would be DeKalb Counties duties to empty trash. Please do something about this because it’s making your store looking really bad and that manager there needs some communication lessons on how to address concerned customers.
Thank you
The manager of the College Station, TX store was extreemly RUDE to me on Friday, October 16, 2020. I as I was walking toward the register to check out, I greeted a woman and was verbally excoriated by the manager. He said I could not talk to the customers. He was very pushy, bold and a basic JERK. HE has the attitude that he is in power and one has to obey his instructions no matter what. The last time I checked, America has freedom of speech included in our Constitution, and Greg, the manager had no right to be that indignant. I am old enough to receive medicare and should be treated with some semblance of kindness, but that is not what I received.
You should consider how many other people Greg will be ugly to and how that will effect business.
Im so sorry sweety , jude rude and, uncalled for
I was treated like a thief & liar by your manager. Ross on Olive Dr. (Bakersfield) i love your store and couldn’t wait to shop there. I was there on the 30th of June. I’m not a thief or liar. I had my 2 year old grandson. And he is busy boy,so I took his toy to entertain him. But I still bought him a toy truck with crane that make makes noise. Will I got home and I looked at my receipt. It said I purchased a SAFARI GREEN DUSTE. I dont know what this is and your manager doesn’t either and she said I put it in my purse and she it on the camera . What I put in my purse was the toy I brought in for my grandson and I told your clerk. So your manager Nancy and Jackie. Told me that toy counted as the that safari green duste( that I put in my purse. The item was 24.99. I wanted to go to store sooner, but I was rear ended by a hit & run drunk driver.
First they wouldn’t take cash now again they wouldn’t take my money and even though my items were rung up and at the counter they forced me to wait another 20 mins at the back of the line
I was in a Ross store in Albuquerque NM and was buying over 60.00 dollars in merchandise and was told buy the manager that they don’t take cash (half dollars) and paper money anymore do to the coin shortage and sent me on my way with 0 . They wouldn’t even sell me anything? So mad I have to drive home to get a card and then they tell me they could only hold it for 20 mins. Wow
