Good evening,

I co-signed with my daughter to purchase a 2017 Lexus from Jacob last Saturday, October 29, 2022. I already knew that I had good credit because that is something that I stay on top of and it is something that I keep a check on. The interest rate that was first offered to us by the Sales Manager was very high. I told Jacob that I was not going to purchase the vehicle at that interest rate. I told him that I would call my local credit union to get them to finance the vehicle. While stepping outside to speak with the credit union, my credit was continuously being pulled dropping my credit score 24 points because I was notified that I had 5 inquiries from Rick Case Kia. I did not authorize these extra 4 hard credit inquiries. I am asking that this be corrected on myself and my daughter credit report if applicable to her because this was not authorized from neither of us. I have been calling since last Sunday to speak with Jared and I haven’t received a call back yet from him. I know that all that they care about is the vehicle being sold. This affects my credit and my daughter credit as well as she is a young lady just starting out to build her credit. You know as well as I, having good credit is a big factor in life. This is unacceptable. Also, after signing off on the sales contract,Jacob presented me with only one set of keys. I asked for the spare key and he stated that it was only one key. I told him that I did in fact need another key. He stated that he will look into it and give me a call back. I called him back several days later inquiring about the spare key because I never heard back from him and he stated that he would get with the salesman that took the vehicle in and speak with the last owner of the vehicle. I called back the next day and spoke with Jacob to find out that the previous owner said that they have the key but they need to locate it and they would bring the spare key back. That certainly did not set well with me knowing that we purchased a vehicle and the previous buyer still has the key. I am needing to know how both issues can be resolved or who would be the next person in charge so that I can contact them directly so that both of these issues can be resolved. My credit score has dropped tremendously and I need to refinance the vehicle but my credit score has dropped 24 points due to these unauthorized hard inquiries. I do want to say that Jacob was a good salesman. The issue is from management that is over him. I have reached out several times and I haven’t received a response.

WILL NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM RICK CASE AGAIN. WAS TOLD THE MODEL WAS THERE, WE LEFT EARLY FROM WORK, AND THERE WERE NO CARS! A PHONE CALL WOULD OF BEEN THE RIGHT THING TO DO, BUT THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.
