I have had your store in Brandon Fl just destroy my glasses not sending them in loeing about it a simple edge grinding to fit the frames and a manager and employee wasting my time for weeks. They will not be reasonable and fix the problem. I am giving you in writing since this incident out of desperation for im on ssi. Seems like no one cares about people on AARP associated. You must correct this I will use every avenue im poor but the real deal is how it looks like you people just love ripping of social security and the people that trusted you. Im so tired of your company that if this isn’t fixed and im forced to go blind I will sue you in court with every aarp member I can get involved for support and to help me in number we shall overcome.

I have a similar issue same store. I have had my frames fixed 6 time in the past ten months. Now the frame broke. Was offered a new frame at a cost and I am also on SSI. It will be a year later this month. I see when I google warranty on frames most companys do a year but not Optical Outlet. Poor service to the consumer.

  • Crystal Constance says:

I am very dissatisfied with the level of service I’ve received from the employees of this company. I paid and ordered my glasses on 12/31/2022. I was told my order would be sent to the Lake City office. That didn’t happen it came to the Gainesville office. I was told that someone who works in Lake City on Wednesday which was 3 days from the time of my call would bring them to the location. Well, that didn’t happen and the excuse was told she came in a different car and left the glasses. It makes me wonder what is really going on here because when I called on Tuesday I was told my glasses were not in the store, so she had my glasses since Monday. Now they are offering to mail me the glasses free of charge. I told them no, send them to the store here because if they are damaged or scratched or stretched and do not fit I will not take them. Actually, I’m at the point of requesting my money back and I will be sending a letter to the CEO regarding employees that are giving the company a bad reputation. They have lost my business and others as well.

  • Crystal Hicks says:

Your agent s are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever had to deal with. This all the time. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and she literally hung up on me. I merely asked her to contact the store to give me a callback time. This is after she stated that she had already spoken to them. The agent stated that they are busy and would me back whenever. Rude, unprofessional, just a poor representation of your company.

    • Crystal Constance says:

I agree with you they are unprofessional and I will not be doing any business with this company anymore.

  • M perez says:

Basically got called a liar from an employee because they screwed up and ordered wrong frames and glass prescription.

    • Crystal Constance says:

This doesn’t surprise me at all. I haven’t seen my glasses yet because someone left them in the car that was supposed to bring them to the office in my city where they were supposed to be mailed in the first place. Bad business practices from what I see and I don’t trust them at all.
