O’Charley’s was founded in the year 1971. The company has been active for almost 48 years now. The founder of the company was Charley Watkins. The first store of the company was opened in Nashville, USA. In the mid-1987, the 12th O’Charley’s store was opened in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, by occupying a site formerly used by the Bennigan’s chain of restaurants as well. By the year 1993, the company had announced the formulation of a growth strategy designed to carry the 45-unit chain into the ranks of the country’s largest regional dinner-house chains as well. During the year 1994, the company planned to open at least eight new O’Charley’s restaurants as well. During the year 2007, the company had closed its Nashville commissary and distribution centre and had begun using Performance Food Group, in order to distribute product to all of its locations as well. In the year 2013, the company had launched Free Pie Wednesday event too. Any dine-in customer ordering an entree on Wednesdays will receive a free slice of pie as a result.     This is just the example why O’Charley’s is going out of business you cater to the 1/3 of the nation by giving them a free lunch but yet you have no specials for retiree people which counts for at least half of this country this is why we don’t eat with O’Charley’s no more we go to places like longhorns chatters are out back good luck on your days of closing winter is probably good to come in the next 3 years.

    Just ate at OCharleys Hattiesburg MS. Food and service were terrible. Ribs, shrimp, fish overcooked. Potato soup extremely thin. Rolls hard and cold. Soup served after entrees and we had to ask. Waitress didn’t offer any refills on drinks Very hot inside 82 degrees. Waitress had visible sweat on face while serving our food. Smells musty, like old mildewed carpet. OCharleys used to be great, what happened. Wasted $95 on food ,for 4 people, that was not edible. Maybe it’s time to close this OCharleys or revamp restaurant.

    Most disrespectful restaurant to Veterans. O’Charley’s had there name added to the list of restaurants that is honoring veterans on Veterans Day by a free meal to all Veterans. I took my dad to the restaurant only to see a note on the desk that the Boardman Ohio O’Charley’s restaurant will not honor any veteran day offers. I watch several guest read and walk out. We stayed and ate because I had my dad a Vietnam era Navy veteran and myself Gulf War Army Veteran. We served proudly and with great honor and pride just to be treated like 2nd class citizens and like beggars. If the company doesn’t respect Veterans then take your name off the list so your not scamming Vets!!!! Because that is exactly what you are doing!!!!!!!!! This is the last time we will ever eat at this or any restaurant associated with this chain.

    I can’t believe O’ Charley’s in Grove City Ohio allows their works to smoke weed and hand it out. Not only that one of their workers is always smelling like beer and he brings and carries his own big mug in problem has beer or alcohol in it. Even noticed this one worker walked in the restaurant one day and was handing out weed to his other co-workers

    Hair in my fish!!! No manager came to apologize my companion was charged for his order even though he couldn’t eat it. This Richmond Ky o’charlies was a good restaurant what happened? Needless to say I will not be eating here ever. nor will I recommend to my friends.

    Went to O’charleys in Richmond Ky. 9/10/22 around 7:30 pm.with my friend. We both ordered the cod and shrimp as I cut into my fish I pulled out a hair. I waved the waitress over and told her she took the plate back to the kitchen and returned shortly and explained it was not a hair but a bristle from a brush didn’t make me any happier to make a long story short the manager or anyone came to our table to apologize they did take the charge off the ticket as I refused any food but my friend was charged for his even though he could not eat the fish.Someone needs to train the kitchen staff and the manager!!! Needless to say I will not be eating at O’charleys ever again.

    I visited the O’Charley’s in Monroe NC ON 4/10/22, I ordered the salmon and steak mashed potatoes. While sitting at the table a wasp flew in and landed right on top of my food. I asked our waiter for another order of potatoes. Got home and started eating the leftovers and saw something embedded in the potatoes ,lifted it up with my fork and it was a rusted torsion spring. The manager would not give a refund because, I paid with cash and she needed to get an approval to give it back. This could have been a very dangerous situation for me and all you can offer is I’m sorry. No worries because, I will never eat at O’Charley’s again!! This is very unacceptable and terrible customer service!!!

    Took my family to OCharleys for dinner tonight,it was by far the worst experience ever,don’t know what was going on but we have 4 children and we do not use fowl language in front of our children,ask to speak with a manager no body came to our table, the bartender working took it upon herself and apologized to a lot of people,was grateful for at least that,food is hit or miss as well as service,but we will not be back nor recommend

    Made order on line, paid on line, pick up food (packaged to go) and when I opened I sow that 1/3 of my order was missing. I order 3 Combo platters each of: 24 chicken tenders with 2 full racks ribs. I paid for 72 tenders and 6 full racks of ribs. But I received the chicken tenders, and 6 half racks of ribs. I had a party and I was short with the meat what I was planning to have and I paid for it. I try to talk with the manager of the restaurant by the phone, after waiting for over 15 min on hold and I had to go back to my guests. Later, I call again and finally I got to talk with the manager. He said that’s what they serve for that platter type. I try to explain that is not what they have listed on their website, but he wasn’t even trying to listen, and when I pointed to check the website and see the listing he said that he doesn’t have access. Not even apologize for wrong listing.

    The restaurant in Carrollton ga needs a complete face lift. The carpet is fifty and the fabric on the booths is nasty.Only thing good is the service people and the food. The cleaness of the restaurant, over all gets a F grade.

    My granddaughter and her 2 small children and I went yesterday the 10th of May to celebrate Mother’s Day together. I understand your not at complete work job capacity and servers. We put our name on list at 5:30pm and 2 1/2 hours later we got to our table and there might have been 10 tables in use. The hostess who seats you should bring silverware and plates when she seats u, but she didn’t. I had to get our plates to eat a roll and no silverware. My granddaughter ask the hostess for a high chair and the host said they didn’t have any…but our server we ask him and he went and got her a high chair.People who got there after us were seated and served before us. We never got our food and we left. I’m complaining on the host she knew us and don’t like us on a personal bases and the way we were treated she needs to be fired. This is at the Riverside Drive location in Clarksville. The hostess name was Payton and she was awful and will cause your business to drop. Customers will be lost and word of mouth will definitely hurt your business because I will let everyone I know how awful the serve and hostess was. (Payton needs to be fired) ugly attitude 16 years old kid…I’ve never been treated in this manner in the years O’Charleys has been at that location. I’m asking for this to be investigated before the location gets closed due to terrible hosting and serve.. Shame On O’Charleys for hiring someone like this to greet people when they have the personality of a rock. TERRIBLE I will boycott your business and tell everyone I know..

    I placed a phone order on 02/13.2021 as my daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren came to visit and we choose to order out and bring it home to eat. When I got to the restaurant I gave my name for my order and was told they would check and bring it out. Come to find out the order was never placed after I waited an hour with several other people waiting also. I have never had a problem before it always is very good but I wasn’t happy when I was told the order would have to be redone. You had several upset people yesterday and some of us may not back.

    This is ridiculous! I’ve been in my car outside 4850 Morse road restaurant for 2 damn hours waiting for my dinner that my son ordered for me for Mother’s Day! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

    I’m a long time customer of the Eastgate Cincinnati store. I have nothing but great things to say about the restaurant and people that work there. I was wondering if the location could bring back Mt.Carmal Amber beer. Even if it’s bottles. Thanks
