My issue is with Mike Erdman Nissan Dealership in Cocoa, FL. A friend, (Mr. B) who is an elderly gentleman, recently purchased a Nissan truck from Mike Erdman in Cocoa, FL. First, the salesman “Charley” and the sales manager and the financing director overcharged him from what the price was listed online and what the salesman had quoted him. Mr. B had his glasses in the car, but Charley said “oh you don’t need them – trust me – I will show you where to sign”. YA – well – it only gets worse from here. When Mr. B got home, all the papers they gave him were totally blank, I mean TOTALLY BLANK !!!! He called me and I immediately called up there and was told “oh it was a printing error”. Questions in my mind – how did they know if they didn’t check that the pages were blank??? then why didn’t they check the papers before Mr. B left??? Mr. B. was very upset now. He is NOT in good health and there is no doubt in my mind that they intentionally took advantage of not only a senior citizen, but an ill one at that. Despicable. Maybe you don’t think so – but I do. When I spoke to Charley I asked him if Mr. B could get a car fax and Charley told me “Why, it is a brand new truck”. Mr. B went back up later the same day to pick up the papers that actually had something on them. When Mr. B got the paperwork (paperwork that was actually printed out) here the truck which is a 2019 Nissan Frontier was listed as USED !!!. Mr. B thought that he was buying a NEW truck advertised as NO DOWN PAYMENT AND 0 % INTEREST. The paperwork did NOT give the monthly payment nor the interest rate and a whole lot more was missing from the paperwork. Mr. B was very distraught and embarrassed over this. He didn’t pick up the truck until the next day. When he drove the truck home the steering is so difficult that he has a very difficult time driving this truck. Mr. B asked me to again call Mike Erdman in Cocoa, which I did, and I spoke to the Manager and the Finance Manager and explained the problem. I was immediately told ‘TO BAD – HE SIGNED THE PAPERS AND CANNOT RETURN IT”. Is this how all of Nissan runs or is it just a few disreputable Dealers???? My name is Joan
My name is Shannon Scagel I am very upset, I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra S and I am afraid I have been ripped off 3 times from the local Nissan they said the noise I was hearing was in my head, when I took it to a mechanic because even with an appointment Nissan said after 2 days they did not have time to get to my car so the mechanic said I needed struts, after paying Riverhead Auto Mall 3 diagnostic fees, I was finally reassured the noise I was hearing was not in my head like they said? I feel I should be reimbursed for the 3 times I paid a diagnostic fee of over 140.00 at least!! My warranty paid for the struts to get fixed. I found out that if nothing is found out to be wrong with your car the person gets commission off of you! I have a 7 year old I am driving around. I almost stolled out driving over 60 miles an hour on the highway yesterday and I am afraid now, I was told its my transmission. Please contact me scagelshannon205@gmail.com
