  • ChloeLeee says:

This is not about Netflix shows but rather the technical support. I just sent a letter to the corporate office about an issue I had when my Netflix went down on May 7, 2019. After two calls with the rep telling me to do the usual, unplug Roku stick, reboot modem, etc. none of this worked. It was the advice of the third and forth rep with whom I spoke that tipped me over. The third rep told me it had to be a problem from my ATT internet service provider and I should ask ATT to do a complete system reboot which I knew would wipe out recordings and scheduled programs. The forth one is so ridiculous it’s not even funny. I was told that there are parts of my internet that would be able to access other apps on my Roku device but for some reason there was a part of my internet that could not access Netflix. What????

I called ATT and spoke with an angel. He did a conference call with me and Netflix and spoke with a supervisor. The problem was actually only with Roku devices and Netflix had to re-route their server to get Netflix up and running. After the conference call, my Netflix was up in about three hours. Had it not been for the awesome ATT rep who went the extra mile, I would probably still going around circles with Netflix in the hopes of finding an educated representative that was aware of the problem and aware of how to correct it. I sure hope my letter gets into the hands of someone who can educate their technical support representatives.
