I was at your MOM’s Market on New York Avenue NE Washington DC. November 30th. I boarded the elevator from the 3rd floor parking garage. The elevator doors closed shut. I pressed the 1st floor button to MOM’s.. The elevator didn’t move. I pressed the opening button. The elevator suddenly Dropped me down onto the 1st floor. With a loud boom sound. I’m holding tightly to prevent myself from falling 😢I immediately reach for the emergency call button. I spoke with an operator. She requested my name. Gave her my name. I told her I was trapped. She said, she was sending the Fire Department. As I waited Panicking 🥺I was pressing the alarm button. The elevator doors opened. Ms Beonca, The manager. Or Assistant manager. Responded immediately as I walked off the elevator. My heart was racing rapidly. And she calm me down. My legs were wobbly. I sat down for about 30 minutes. Or more. All the staff were attentive. Including the special female police officer. She asked, If I needed ambulance. However, the ambulance never arrived. When I arrived home. I was still shaken up. Friday was weary. However, Saturday morning I was in intense pain. Muscle spasms My brother took me to Washington Hospital Center emergency care. I had a X-ray. The doctor diagnosed me. And said, Acute Trauma… A traumatic experience for me. I hope your team reached out to you. Regarding this matter. I was also given a $10.00 credit for my traumatic experience. My Mom and I, are long time shoppers of MOM’s Market. We’ve also contacted our family attorney. Regarding this matter.
