  • S Bauman says:

Microtel in my past experience has been one of better options in the economical lodging segment. Our stay last night in West Chester PA shows that when it comes at least to the Indian owned hotels under the Microtel name that a LOT is lacking. From sticky floors, to missing electrical outlet plates, to rooms with open doors that have all kinds of things stored in them, the overall feeling is that we are in seedy place where cleanliness and the customers comfort are not the primary concern. Please Microtel IF you value the business of your Caucasian guests you are going to need to get your foreign franchisees to improve their housekeeping. Thankfully there are other hotels that provide what Microtel used to. If you need a reminder of how that looks like let me know and I can give some referrals. Let me know when you clean up your act and will check it out.

  • Savannah Cochran says:

I need corporates number. The hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina owes me a refund and the women at the front desk has lied about us being there so she is refusing to refund my money. One of us got a refund. But she cussed me so I cussed her back and now she lied to booking and said we were no shows. I have called and tried to get my money back and now she won’t answer calls from my area code!

  • Hamid Piram says:

I need the headquarters’ email address. I have a serious complain.

  • Norma Reyes says:

Hi this is Norma Reyes again also she would not give me my points for my United Mileage Plus or for my Wyndham Rewards she said she didn’t know about that and that you guys don’t do that

  • Norma Reyes says:

Was a guest at the Microtel in Denver Colorado by the airport the young lady that was there on August 1st 2003 at about 9:30 in the evening which I just found out is the manager and her name is Bree was beyond rude as I try to talk to her about it today and explain to her about her rudeness she continue to be rude and sarcastic by telling me what is it that I wanted her to do about the situation when I told her that I was going to go above her she just said okay fine and hung up obviously she has no respect for the customers that stay at your hotel also I had asked for a wheelchair accessible room and that I was traveling with three children and that I would need two beds I was told by the young man that I spoke to personally from the Denver Airport Hotel that that would be the case that it would I can have a room like that when I get there there’s only one bed when I bring it up to her she actually did not read about it again very rude would not give any type of eye contact slamming the keys or car key whatever it’s called on the counter it’s pretty sad to me that you guys have someone working for your establishment with that type of attitude breakfast was only coffee at 4:00 in the morning and at 4:30 when I got there with my grandchildren mentioned that to her and her response was so what do you want me to do about it I will no longer stay at a Microtel I will because I have Wyndham Rewards stay another hotel the window and it’s the same problem arises and I won’t ever stay in the Wyndham at all ever again hopefully you guys Scream the people that you’re going to put in your front desk thank you for taking the time to read this and I’m hoping that you find some type of remedy to the situation

$ 372 a night for average room with 2 queen beds and I wasn’t aloud to check in early unless i paid another$25! And i.have 3 cp workers with rooms also.
That’s over $1,600 per night and there is a room avaliable and I have been driving all night from KY.
I’m thinking of pulling all of us out right now.

  • Thomasine L. says:

Hi. I am from okc area and there is one of you hotels here and the guy in charge is running somewhat of scam with the facility by chasing off guest with attitude and whether intentional or not the place is getting bad reviews. He is making it no refund on cancelation fees but also taking money being rude and making a person feel uncomfortable to point of checking at within hrs of checking in. I feel he is doing intentional. I would like to have my 73 dollars back especially due to fact I was there due to electric outage at home. Not only did he take my money n keep it. I have submitted several complaints demanding a refund since he was one pushing issues. I noticed I didn’t even recieve any points for for that brief stay. I will never stay at that location. He shouldn’t be allowed to run a hospitality based business. If I was in charge of the corporation I know I would terminate him even disqualify him from ever running another chain of business. He makes the company look bad and I would want him removed immediately.!! I would like my money back as well I showed up checked in but he lacked skillet for hospitality!!

  • Karen Vaughn says:

Hi, I was a recent guest at your Perry, Ga location. After leaving, my card was charged for a damaged towel. I called the location, a person emailed me a photo of a towel with a small amount of dirt on the towel. The towel was not damaged. It needed to be washed. There was no photo proof the “damage” didn’t come out in the wash. Nor was there proof it was even in my room. I stay at this location 4 times a year spending from $1500-$2000 a year there. I will gladly provide you with the photo I was provided. Is this the latest scam in hotel management?

  • Carmelo Guzzardi says:

Hello my name is Carmelo Guzzardi. I just wanted to let y’all know that your hotel is the best I’ve ever stayed at. Here in Springhill Florida your manager Tiffany is theawesome. I just think that you should have a program where if you spend like 2 weeks you should be able to get a night free. My wife and I are leaving today Saturday the 9th and I would love to spend one more night but can’t afford to buy thanks

  • Chad jackson says:

After staying at the same microtel last night and countless night prior I was shocked as to what took place tonight. It was close to midnight tonight when I tried to book online but couldnt till next day make a reservation. I decided to go ask at front desk if I could do a early check-in if I was to book now through the agency. I thought it would be no problem seeing as with a fee it can be arrainged if room is available. I read this on microtels early check in policy procedure. So with my dog, girlfriend and 12 year old waiting in the car i walked In to be confronted by the very angry and distraught lady behind the desk. After inquiring about the early check-in I was screamed at by the employee and told to leave the premises. I couldn’t believe it and was in shock after all the nights I’ve stayed prior were friendly employees. So now it’s early morning and I have to find another hotel nearby. Unless this issue is dealt with accordingly, I can’t see myself ever coming back to this place again. This experience was by far the worst experience ever with any kind of personel I’ve ever encountered. And in my line of work I encounter alot. This employee will surely lose more then just my business if not addressed.

  • Joe Gonzalez Jr says:

We were very disappointed with the Microtel Rawlins, Wy. We stayed in late August 2022. The hotel rooms need be cleaned better, and have maintenance done. Ironing board had no cover.we didnt feel comfortable using the coffee machine. The furniture and carpeting was filthy. The shower curtain rod was really loose at the wall. The hotel exit doors to the outside of building sometimes locked and sometimes didnt. Those doors were missing essential pieces and you could hurt yourself. The linens on bed appeared not to have been changed between customers, it was extremely wrinkled in the area your body lies down. The breakfast was almost unedible. The cereal was stale, bread was dry and they ran out before the breakfast hrs was up. We had stayed in microtel in Raton Pass earlier in our long trip and were very impressed at how clean, maintained and wonderful staff it had. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms, breakfast area and grounds were well maintained. So we were very disappointed at the Rawlins Microtel. Will never be staying there again. As retirees and military veterans we plan to travel, we will be very leery of staying in a Micotel. The only one would be the Raton pass Microtel, they know how to run a hotel.

  • Barbara says:

Very disappointed, I arrived in Columbus Georgia to spend a special weekend with my son in the military. It was the worst experience the room was dirty. There were wire sticking out by the air conditioning. There were ants all over, they say breakfast it was old coffee and stale, muffins and cereal. The only one good thing was the receptionist.
There was plastic on the ceiling over the tables with water in it. It was cold and very uncomfortable just to sit and enjoy family time and what I was charged I would think I would’ve gotten a better place than this.

  • Lynn says:

So I was very shocked about our stay last night In Jacksonville Florida Microtel Inn. We have always stayed with your hotel chain when we travel to Colorado. This hotel was less than up to par. Very run down and disgusting. I have pictures but we arrived at 12:15 am and was so tired from flight to switch hotels. But I wanted to let you know, and would like some type of compensation for stay. Like I said I have pictures if needed. Sorry for bad review but first time dissatisfied with stay. Thank you and look forward to talking with someone.

Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Riverside
    4500 Linden Ave
    Dayton, OH
    Vijay Patel- General Manager

I am highly dissatisfied with the lack of concern & respect that this establishment has for customers. I made my reservation yesterday via my Wyndham app and showed up close to 3:30p to check in. I followed all steps and processes until he requested that I pay $50 in addition to the $72.40 for damage/incidental fee. I explained to him that I don’t pay deposits with my account type, as all my reservations are made through my Wyndham’s preferred member account. Anyhow the owner decides he’s still going to charge me for an entire night, which I never received a key to the room or stayed in the room due to not being able to pay the $50 deposit. He lied and reported that I didn’t show up and charged me a no show charge, which is how he was able to absorb the money without having to refund me. I showed up twice to the facility to check in. I will Never make another reservation at the motel again and I don’t suggest anyone else do either. I feel taken advantage of and manipulated. Please join me in replacing this tarnished manager with one who cares about the public and will work to provide quality and upstanding customer service not FRAUD!!!!

  • Teresa says:

My husband and I booked a suite and in the description it showed the room had a separate room for watching TV and relaxing which it did not have. The refrigerator was dirty inside and the bed was supposed to be a queen and it was a full size bed. Went to the front desk to ask about the bed and was told by an employee that it was a queen and there are different sizes of queen beds she was rude when she said it. Last time I checked there was only one size queen bed. We went back up to the room got our stuff went back down to check out 5 minutes after getting there and the lady wanted to argue with me yet again about the bed I told her I have a queen at home and I think I am smart enough to know the difference in a full and queen size bed and that I was not going to argue with her about it. I have never stayed in a hotel to where the employee’s were rude. I was not given a refund and will never stay with Microtel Hotels again. Don’t waste your money on Microtel’s.

  • Desiree says:

I tried to stay in Microtel Inn by Wyndham Ardmore. The property is advertised as a smoke free property. However when we arrived with my toddler that has asthma, the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. My son started coughing uncontrollably. We went to speak to receptionist she said she would check for a different room. We left to get food and came back. Receptionist stated that no other room was available and wasn’t able to refund us. Even though the property is advertised as smoke free it was unbearable. We were obviously not able to stay with a toddler with asthma in that room. We did not spend more than 10min in that room yet we’re not able to get a refund. Besides the smell it was run down to the ground.

Worst place we’ve stayed at. Manager wouldn’t refund our money stating we had “used” the room yet we just walked in and walked out to complain and get a refund.

  • Corinne says:

Dear Geoff Ballotti and Tom Barber,
You should go and visit the hotels you represent and see what they look like! I had a horrible experience at the Microtel in Henrietta, NY on July 27, 2022. The hotel was filthy. The doors on the rooms were old wooden (unsafe) doors. It smelled like cigarette smoke. The carpet was dirty. I inspected the room-heard people walking around upstairs. I did not feel safe and couldn’t imagine sleeping even one night and left the hotel! I had driven 500 miles that day and had 500 more to drive the next day.
I feel I deserve a refund of the $110.71 for the room I DID NOT STAY IN! As I read the other comments below I see that is probably not going to happen.
How sad-I used to stay at Microtel often. Never again! Now I will tell all my friends NOT to stay at Microtel.

Terrible experience at the Microtel in Minot ND. Dirty sheets and carpet, shower not clean, bugs in the bed. Moved to a second room that had a person sleeping in it! Third room was also unclean. Complained to GM there and still no response two days later. Will never stay here again.

  • Anquinette Avant says:

The Microtel at 2980 Evans Mill Rd, Stonecrest, GA 30038 needs to be shut down. The condition of the property is horrendous. I booked 2 rooms for a two night stay here and checked out after night one. If I didn’t have to get dressed for a retirement ceremony I would not have stayed the one night. It’s drug infested topped with prostitution. I was actually afraid to sleep. I moved my daughter into the room with me due to my fears and the fighting that was going on outside. I checked out first thing the next morning and booked with another hotel for the remainder of my stay. The pictures they have on there site is false advertising and they are tarnishing the Microtel name. You guys need to uphold you company values and pull your name for this site. This location is a health hazard and dangerous. From the mold in bathroom, dirty walls, unclean carpet, old furniture, rotting food in microwave and finally the stench of cigarettes and marijuana in the rooms is unacceptable to name a few. A refund for the two rooms for one night would be nice.

  • Debbie says:

Gatlinburg,TN. Got to room, very dirty, torn carpets, stunk like dog, cigs n chemicals. Had to sleep with window open and use car freshener to get us thru the night. Drain Flies, sunflower seeds under bed, questionable marks on walls, hairs on pillows n sheets. Other room sofa bed was slanted. And would not give refund for any rooms!

  • Tanya fagan says:

I’m at the microtel in Zephyrhills, so far I have spent about 8 different nights here and that is just in the past two weeks. I’m trying to book a room and in the mean time the girl at the desk is asking my husband and myself to leave. Saying we can’t hang out in the lobby. Mind you we just got here and we’re not even here ten minutes. Please help me, we don’t deserve such treatment.

  • Dominique says:

Found a bed bug. Manager was very rude about it no refund given or nothing. Charlotte, North Carolina location

  • Mandee says:

Our first night there was fine. The next morning i wake up and pull the sheets back on the kids bed only to find a giant stain going down the box springs sheet that appears to be a bunch of poop. After looking at our bed it has some on it too. We left to go to DC for the weekend and when we came back we got a room on the 3rd floor. It was really pretty and i was excited to stay there. Until i opened the fridge and 2 live roaches were looking at me. So we go and complain and they move us to a different room. Going into that room Everything seemed to look fine. Until we pull the pull out couch out for my kids. That mattress was disgusting. They really expect my children to sleep on this filth? There was condom papers all under the pull out couch mattress. Food under the couch. food between the wall and the fridge. Then we have people outside our door fighting and yelling after midnight. I would never stay here again. This place needs a deep cleaning. (Richmond, VA location)

My Family and I booked a room at The Microtel Hotel online through it’s site.. but when we got dropped off to the Conyers Georgia location…I was told by the manager that she didn’t see my reservations at all..So She put us in a room that had an air condition that didn’t blow cool air to make the room cold ..it has been a very uncomfortable stay…we have been extremely grateful for the accommodation to have been given for us to stay here…the same day I was given the key…I was told to be sure to check everything that wasn’t working so that they can send a worker out to fix the problems.. I mentioned several things…the young lady came up to look at everything I mentioned and then forgot to write these things down. that was our first day…so we got no sleep but did the best to stay in a really really hot room with no complaints.. so we all patiently waited for today which is the next day June 1 2022 to see the manager about the problems and to let her know it was too hot to stay another night..she said she was gonna put us in another room..well that changed.. so she asked me if we would like to be put in a room that have only one cart bed.. for a Family of four??? Wow!! I thought.. but I said nothing at all..I am very upset…but I like to keep peaceful..and because Iam a very grateful person…my family 3 of them have asthma really bad..and it has been so difficult for them to get rest… here we go again in a very hot room…We paid $108.25 for ..for both nights.. I feel it was unfair for us to be treated like this with no genuine concern…at all…on top of this. The manager left without saying anything else ..I thought she was gonna try her very best to accommodate us.. everybody else seemed to be so happy..but me and my family was treated like we was nobody..I watched how nice she spoke to others who came before us. Even while we stood there.. they spoke to me in front of others with no privacy ..I don’t feel we should have had to pay$ 108.25 for a room that had no good a/c..this is our first time ever staying at Microtel hotel..I appreciate her trying to put us in a room…but at least make us feel like she really cared…even if she really cared less.. our room is Room 219 thank y
    ou still

I wouldn’t let a STRAY DOG stay here! This bed beg infested place is so run down. It’s not Worthy to be associated with Wyndham properties. Stayed at Microtel in Henrietta NY for what was supposed to be an Enjoyable time – my daughter’s college graduation. We were Bit so bad she almost ended up in the ER. We had so many bites you couldn’t see them, it looked like big welps on our body. We went to Urgent Care and the PA confirmed it was bed bugs. He also told us that the hotel is known for Bed Bugs. NEVER A F**KING GAIN! Will be contacting the GM for a Full Refund!

Stayed at the Microtel in Henrietta, NY for 2 miserable nights. Upstairs “guests” stomping around until 3am . Front desk did nothing. TV did not turn off with remote. Needed to unplug it! No breakfast even though the website indicates so. I have requested a refund – it has been ignored. Not satisfied!

Ellen, I am here now! 😞 Came for my daughter’s graduation. This put a Huge damper on her special day. We got bit with so many bed bugs. She almost missed her graduation. I wish I saw your comment earlier.

  • Greg Mercurio says:

    Hello,
I NEVER make a bad comment on a hotel, but I must, in this case. I travel regularly across Canada and the US , and must say , the MIcrotel we are now in , Daphne Allabama, is not up to the Microtel standard that I normally find during my stays.
This Microtel branch is very, very dirty, badly stained carpets, EVERYWHERE. The entrance doors are very dirty, well I must say that ALL was dirty and not fit to stay in.
Unfortunetly I has booked the previous night via Expedia and a full payment for the 2 rooms I had reseved for myself and my accompagning friends. Upon arrival my friends were forced to ask for a room change because of a strong mold smell in the room.
I would like to think that someone at Microtel will take this comment seriously and follow up, simply because your reputation is badly undermined in my eyes. My reason to make this reoprt is to hopefully get your attention and do something to correct or at the least be aware of this situation. The cost is reasonable for a proper room but by no means for the condition of this entire hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully do something to correct this.

We stayed in Buda, Tx. for 2 nights at the Microtel Inn. We had a terrible experience with the management. We reported it to Wyndham & they would’t do anything about the rudeness of the management. We wouldn’t recommend staying here or any Wyndham hotel in the future. They don’t seem to value the customer.

I would appreciate if someone would contact me in regards to this issue.

I stayed at the Microtel at 2185 Hanford Rd, Burlington, NC 27215 on 30 October 2021. We made several noise complaints about the guy who was attempting the front desk because he was talking to his buddies loudly on speaker phone right next to my room. We told him that we have two kids that are trying to sleep, but that apparently doesn’t matter to the front desk attendant. I will never recommend microtel to anyone.

  • Myra Henderson says:

I just stayed in the Microtel in College Station, Texas. It was a horrible experience. There were bugs on one of our beds. We asked for a new room. They said they were booked and couldn’t give us a room but gave us a set of sheets to change the bed sheets. No one came to look at the bed at all. There were also black hairs on the bathroom floor and some kind of stain/residue on the toilet that I had to clean off my self before we could use it. We were told that we would receive a 40% off credit on our bill. This did not happen. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had!!! I want my credit I was told I would receive!!!!

  • Jane Chamblee says:

I received a call at 6:20 p.m. on October 17, 2021, and talked for 12 minutes and 20 seconds. The call was from the Microtel Inn and Suites, Brandon, MS. The lady who called said she had received a call from the Microtel corporate office and they told her to call us about our complaint against their hotel. She offered to make our next stay at their hotel halfprice. When we responded that we would never stay there because of extreme nasty conditions and the way we were treated when we asked for a refund. She refused and was rude. We restated that the air conditioner did not work, there were bugs, dust and mold, and when I said that we would call the Better Business Bureau and the Brandon Chamber of Commerce about their business, she responded with “I will have you destroyed”, then she tried to say that was an example. After back and forth discussion with her trying to overtalk us, she hung up. We feel threatened for our lives by this woman. She then called back at 6:34 p.m., and talked for 3 minutes and 6 seconds. At that time she offered to refund some of the money. We said that was unacceptable and she continued to say we had left trash and had used the room. This was false. She kept making false statements. She said they would give no refund and she hung up.

  • Berneata Bargar says:

I stayed at the Microtel at 905 Lehigh Station Rd in Henrietta, NY July 3 & 4, 2021. It was the worst experience of my life! We were woken up in the middle of the night each night. The first time the front desk called to move us to another room as “the plumber found a leak coming from our room and leaking into the 1st floor laundry room”. We got dressed and 5 minutes later got another call saying it was another room. The next morning I discovered the laundry room was on the other side of the hallway on the first floor! It seems the employees don’t know their own place of employment. Or maybe it was payback for making the desk clerk give me the batteries from his TV remote to replace the dead ones in our room TV remote?! The second night the building fire alarm went off and we saw a fire department truck in the parking lot. I talked with the fire department personnel and they said false alarms happen a lot at that motel. The room alarms are NOT ADA compliant as they don’t have a strobe and the fire doors do NOT latch when left to self close! There was no breakfast and it was blamed on the pandemic. The halls smelled of Marijuana smoke! We asked for a non-smoking and it was listed as such, but found cigarette butts left behind! The room was filthy and is in disrepair. From the walls to the bathtub, it was disgusting! The bed sheets were stained and not well made. Apparently the housekeeping staff member does not take pride is his work! The Microtel in Wellsville NY is much better in all respects. This one should be shut down! I would like my $159.58 back! Contact me at the email below to arrange this!

I was charged $100 for having a dog in my room. I don’t own a dog! They took $50 for a deposit which was returned to me. If I had an animal why would the return my $50? All these charges happen after I had left the room 3 days later. I requested to speak to a manager and was hung up on. I won’t stand for this I work hard for my money. Please contact me ASAP.

My name is Susan John my reservation # 557-683109 3/26- 4/3. I have always stayed at microtel because of the good pricing and amendments. However when checking in we were told that their will not be a continental breakfast served in the morning before our flight . I assumed that is what I payed for and had to make other arrangements for my myself and guest before flight . Therefore I feel a a check or credit to my card for reimbursement for the $25.00 food purchased at the airport should be adequate . The hotel was very nice and I would not want to give a bad review… thank you for taking the time to address this concern.
