Mattress Firm was incorporated by Harry Roberts, Paul Stork, and Steve Fendrich in 1986. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas. By 2002, the company owned and operated approximately 250 locations across the United States and was considered the second-largest independent retailer in the country. In 2016, Mattress Firm was sold to South African retail group Steinhoff for $3.8 billion. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late 2018 and came out of it in the same year.

    Good Morning. I have been a loyal costumer to Mattress Firm for quite a while now and am very upset with my purchase and service. I have several Mattresses that I have purchased my King size mattress and frame that I purchased from the company. My mattress have become lumpy and very uncomfortable. I reached out to the company several times and got no response. I spoke to a representative who informed me that because of covid no one would be able to come out to inspect my mattress even though I was willing to pay the 75$.. I have reached several more times since then and haven’t received any response. I have even went into the store in which it was purchased and nothing. I have a ten year warranty on my mattress and it hasn’t even been a good two years. so Please CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?

    I am a customer that was overcharged for a product that was on sale. More than half the price and have been getting the run around for almost two years for my account. The Platform has not work since the second month of having it. I gave up for a while trying to put in a warranty claim because no one will tell me what the customer ID is or help with instructions. I finally found this web site after paying 4000.00 for a defective mattress and platform. I need help please. I have a picture of the purchase price tag also.

    InMy daughter bought from Mattress Firm in Jacksonville Florida and today they were rude to her to the point of tears! They just threw the adjustable base in the room and took her old mattress and put it on the street in the rain ruining it! She was threatened and didn’t allow the “delivery” people back in her house! They called the police and said she was in the wrong! The store manager was rude and threatened to trespass her if she tried to go to the store to try and resolve her issues! She is left to sleeping on her sofa and she has back injuries from a rear end car crash! The store manager told her it was his day off and he would call her tomorrow! What kind of people do this to a single mom with back issues! I will get her to give them the worst rating she can give them! You corporate executives better resolve this issue or I will sue your company for a lot more than the cost of a mattress!

      With so many of us having such aweful issues, there’s gotta be something we can do other than complain, when corporate doesn’t care. How do we hit them where it counts, in the profits? Class action suit? Contacting attorney general by state, or fed?

    I purchased a Sealy Silver Chill Plush with the Mattress firm adjustable base in May of 2021. I was not sleeping well on it so before my trial period expired, I choose to exchange it for the Serta iSeries 4000 plush. (BIG MISTAKE!!!)DOES NOT FEEL ANYTHING LIKE THE ONE IN THE SHOWROOM. HARD AS A ROCK (I am a side sleeper) AND AGAIN RESTLESS SLEEPING.I requested that the base be lowered when they delivered the new mattress. The delivery team was unable to unscrew the legs from the base so the store in Columbus OH said they would send out another team with tools to adjust the base. The following weekend two delivery guys showed up, no tools, no masks no nothing. I told them they are not going to be able to do this without the proper tool. I provided them with face coverings and they did go back to their truck and put shoe covers on. Their attempt to adjust the legs again failed so they left. The store then said they would simply replace the base with a new one. The following weekend the delivery team showed up and had the wrong base on the truck. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Again no masks, no shoe covers.

    This coming weekend 10/16/21 will be the final attempt to get this right. If they don’t I will demand that they come pick up this crap and give me a full refund. This has inconvenienced be for 4 weekends in a row due to lack of communication most likely at the warehouse. I will say that one of the salesmen at the store was very kind and seemed genuinely concerned that I get outfitted with the correct mattress.
    I was made to feel unwelcomed at the store front after I went back to try to select a new mattress. This is what I consider to be a major purchase that should last 6-10 years and is not an easy decisions. I started going to different locations because I was uncomfortable going back to the original store.
    I WILL NEVER NEVER BUY ANOTHER MATTRESS FROM YOUR COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW !!!

    As a disabled veteran(usmc recon) my wife and I purchased a hot tub from this company. We were guaranteed delivery 4-8 weeks. Tomorrow will be the end of 8 weeks still not tub. We have been lied to by the following employees Kieth phone number of 360-510-6056, Mark corporate office 516-861-7244 James 314-239-3378 Ryan 346-718-5943 . All of these employees have lied to us multiple times on multiple occasions over the phone about the location and time expected of delivery. Your employee Kieth threated to kick my ass if I did not stop asking for the time of delivery. So now your company threatens violence on its customers if it doesn’t like the conversation that it receives. Case number 02531705 has still not been taken care of. After contacting a lawyer I will be suing your company and suing all of the employees listed below. We just want the damn tub at this point and will drop all lawsuits if done so within 7 days otherwise let the lawyers begin. We are tired of you pissing and shitting all over us and telling us its raining.

    We are very, very disappointed with the quality of the mattress we purchased from Mattress Firm. We looked at a few mattresses here and the salesman seemed to be pushing the used mattress so, of course, being senior citizens with fixed incomes, we wanted to save money. He said the used mattress was only used for 14 days or less.
    So we thought it would be fine. THIS WAS A SERIOUS MISTAKE. We have bad backs as it is and we made that clear to the salesperson. Our backs are way worse now! We cannot even sleep on this horrible quality matttress! I am sure it was used for a lot longer than 14 days! Very disappointed to say the least!

    I AM MEDICALLY DISABLED: PURCHASED AN EXCHANGE MATTRESS THRU YOUR ONLINE CHAT (JOHN) DELIVERY WAS FOR 8/14/2019,,,,,,THEY CAME AND TOOK MY OLD MATTRESS; HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT LEAVE MY NEW ONE….SO NOW I’M LEFT WITH ONLY THE ADJUSTABLE BASE…..I HAVE NO WAY TO LIE DOWN OR SLEEP……..THEY ARE SAYING NEW MATTRESS WILL BE DELIVERED 8/19/19…….WHAT OR WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO SLEEP ON?????

It Töok A Month For My Matteress to get here But A MONTH hI Went And Bought A Mattress I couldnt Wait That Long For a Matteress Now I Have To Try And Get A Refund !     I purchased a king with adjustable head. When it arrived the delivery people stated that my bed was supposed to be unassembled (was not told this at time of purchase) as they were supposed to have only 15 mins to install the new foundation and mattress. I would like to know how a 71 yr old female is supposed to move a king mattress and 2 box frames.

    I really don’t think they could have installed the set up in 15 mins. but main concern is customer having to move heavy mattresses.

    I had a fall down my stairs and I spent 5 months in the hospital. I was told not to go up the stairs so I had to buy a bed before I was discharged from the hospital. my wife went down to the Mattress firm store in Westfield Indiana. when I arrived home I locked at the mattress it sagged in the center. when I called the store I was told that I would have to pay for someone to come out to look at the mattress
    and I was asked for the who made the mattress. I told the store manager it was a Sealy he told me that mattress firm did not sell the Sealy mattress. I now have the mattress tag off the mattress. It is from the mattress firm warehouse # 2100 dated 11/23/16. I can’t believe the condition of the mattress set

I GOT A MATTERESS FROM WALMART FOR $182.00 DOLLARS AND ITS A 10 INCH MATTERESS GREAT BED IN A BOX ! AT WALMART !!!! 2 MEMORY FOAM 8 INCH MATTERESS IS 14 INCH MATTERESS AND THAT IS LESS THAN 400 DOLLARS AND U KNOW ITS KNEW ! THE GUY TOLD ME THEY SELL USED MATTERESS’S !     I PURCHASED A NEW , PRIME, KING SIZE MATTRESS AND TWO BOX BOX SPRINGS ALSO NEW.

    WHAT I RECEIVED WAS A USED MATTRESS WHICH HAD DEPRESSIONS AND GROVES IN IT FROM SOME FOLKS SLEEPING ON IT , EVEN THOUGHT THE TAGS ON THE MATTRESS WERE AS IF IT WERE NEW!!! YOU COULD TELL BY THE DEPRESSIONS THAT AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE WERE SLEEPING ON IT.

    I CONTACTED THE STORE AND THEY APOLOGIZED AND WERE TO SEND ME ANOTHER ” NEW ” MATTRESS ( SECOND TRY). SAME ISSUE AS WITH THE FIRST MATTRESS, ANOTHER USED MATTRESS THAT HAD BEEN SLEPT ON BY 2 PEOPLE JUDGING BY THE DEPRESSIONS YET THE TAGS ARE AS IF IT WAS NEW.

    ONCE AGAIN , I CONTACTED THE STORE AND RECEIVED A THIRD ” NEW ” MATTRESS ” HOWEVER , THE ONE I RECEIVED IS SOMEWHAT BETTER THAN THE FIRST TWO . BUT IT HAS ALSO BEEN USED BUT , THIS MATTRESS HAS BEEN SLEPT ON BY ONLY ONE PERSON ,

    AND IS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN THE FIRST TWO.

    I PAID FOR A NEW MATTRESS AND 2 BOX SPRINGS AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM .

    I CAN’T TELL IF THE BOX SPRINGS WERE IN FACT NEW OR NOT BUT I AM VERY SUSPECT THAT THEY ARE NOT.

    I AM 71 Y/O AND DISABLED.
