I ordered perfumes from Macy’s online for my mother.
She will turn 90 on Sept. 25 which is this Monday coming up. I decided to use Klaran to pay. I have been recently hacked. I get an email from Macy’s that the order has been split in 4 shipments. This is correct. But then they are billing these shipments to my mother, not to me. Klarna doesn’t know who my mother is, they might not pay for these pkgs. I will pay. Customer Service seems to not understand what happened. I’m asking Macy’s to help rectify this issue so my mother will receive her gifts from me on her Birthday.

I visited the Macy’s backstage store in Sterling Virginia yesterday wanted to purchase some perfume that was on the table saying 7999 and under when I went to purchase, they told me that the perfume was 9999 I was like it’s on the display table that says 79 and under they told me oh well, it’s not supposed to be there it’s supposed to be on the other table and the other table had less price than what they said When I told her well that’s cheaper and she told me oh well and took the sign out. The person did not have a name tag wasn’t very understanding because she kept speaking in her language to another employee. I am very upset because there is nothing in that store that would’ve went past $99 , and now they did not try to find a supervisor or anyone when I ask they were very rude when I went to check out with the purchase the line was very very long. It was several employees on the floor and only one cashier. This is unacceptable and something needs to be done .

    Sorry to trouble you but truly don’t understand this..

    I ve been looking at a couch at the Maine Mall location
    Kared 84”. Gray on sale $879.00

    I told they don’t have it and it can’t be delivered to Maine..

    I also looked on line where it says this item i carried at different Macy locations most likely a gray could be there .,

    Why if this is an item in your inventory and you continue to move items among stores why can’t this be available to send or transfer to the Maine location??

This was my 1st & my last time to do business with this company. Your customer service is unconscionable. Having worked in customer service had I ever told someone maybe they should borrow money from family or friends to cover what you have overdrawn your account, it’s not our fault, trust me I’d have been out the door in a heart beat.d Despite the fact that I was billed 2xs for the same items & evidently the wonderful training you give them I have had to file a dispute with my bank & in the meantime I have 3 more things that should come thru to my account and they will be covered by my bank however I will have 3 more overdrafts at 32 bucks each due to your error. I even talked to a supposed supervisor whose name was Ken & when I asked for her employee number in case of further problems, I was told 911. Hmm, imagine that!!

1.I am a card holder of Macy’s,
This is the most difficult company to reach to speak to a employee that can understand English!

2. The technology system for customers have assess to try speak to someone to resolve a concern or problem is Absolutely madness! It is not user friendly at all .

I had left Macy for a long time ! My mistake to return !

Very poor customer service ! I notified Macy of my change of address but got a notice for a late payment due to address being entered incorrectly ! It took more than 33 minutes talking to 2 people giving me the run around regarding trying to correct what they had in The system.

I asked several times to be transferred to USA as there was great difficulty in understanding each other!!

Please look at your communication /Technologies system! On the bill you only have last (4)digits

I was late on one payment do to a mishap. I explained to the representative the situation. They my credit limit was taken down. I have paid off this card once before. Then my credit was checked for whatever reason without my authorization. Is this how you do your valued customers. I consider this an insult and unwarranted. I am very disappointed and insulted by macy’s.
Then when you try to call Corporate the number doesn’t work.
I need to talk to the Director, President or who ever is actual in charge.
Customer service is no help and I get the run around.
It’s unappreciated I have been given several numbers to speak with someone. And I get unhung up on.

I have a problem with a return I did at Macy’s at the Southl as keep Mall in Ind. I did a purchase online received with no paperwork went to return the sales girl said Ì would get a check in the mail but didn’t mention it was a merchandise credit, I spent an hour on the phone with some foreign people that I could barely understand or hear with all the background noise and got no where. I don’t want a $168.93 credit for merchandise I will be contact Macy’s Corp. I have spent thousands of dollars at Macy’s to be given the run around by customer service that is no help or you can’t understand. Not a happy customer

I’ve contacted Macy’s Customer Service – WHICH IS LOCATED IN EL SALVADOR; because the website sent my order to Northfield Mall store in Colorado. I asked for a cancellation but was told I had to wait the 9 days for it to drop of by not picking it up. There were several calls made and no return calls. I’m a loyal customer of Foley’s/Macy’s for the last 50+ years and I am extremely disappointed that you are outsourcing the customer service and that issues that you – Macy’s – instigated, cannot be rectified efficiently. I will be contacting the Upper Management as I see there are a lot of dissatisfied customers besides myself.

During the pandemic I received a Macys Gift card for my birthday – because I’m elderly I waited till now to go to the store shopping – wasn’t aware I could use a gift card on line…. My card was ‘ineligible’ at the check out register… upon calling the 800 number the person was extremely rude saying if I didn’t “Own” the card ..i.e. I wasn’t the one who paid for the card- I was out of luck …… I can’t get anyone to help me WHERE CAN I GO TO TALK WITH SOMEONE?

I wrote to Corporate last year and I am writing again as nothing has changed in the Woodbridge N.J. store.
Someone visit the store and see the mess it always is in.
The store should be shut down as the appearance it gives to the public as it is a bargain store or looks like it ready to close.
Nothing is organized, thrown all around. The manger of the store should be fired or located to another store to see how they function. Bridgewater in N.J. is a perfect example. It gets a A Plus for Management and staff caring for that store.

Please close Woodbridge down. Its disgusting to the public eye!

Hello, today is July 15, 2022. I was in your store in Moreno Valley, California. It was horrifying seeing the store carpet so disgusting. It was shocking, I didn’t believe how dirty and unorganized this store is. Please make some changes to this store. I was shopping in the INC department and as I moved to other areas, the same dirty carpet. I had to leave the store. I couldn’t shop in that environment. I enjoy shopping with Macy’s. I shop mostly online, and on occasion I go to the store.

FYI. I called Macy’s customer service and got someone last night in FLORIDA. SHe put me on hold, called UPS, and they said they were delivering TODAY. JULY 3. So MAcys Coporate, UPS lied to customer service last night, who gave me delivery buy what she was told from UPS. And today Phillipines called UPS, who said they dont deliver on weekends especially holiday ones. So, seems like there is a triangle of a whole bunch of misinformation. THE RIGHT HAND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE LEFT IS DOING>

Clearly the whole ordering process is broken. I am not getting EXPRESS PACKAGE that MACY;S paid for because UPS DOES NOT deliver on weekend, especially a HOLIDAY Weekend. SO, Macys made a promise to the customer of express delivery, who was screwed by UPS, taking their money and delivering it under their terms, and the customer Paying the FINAL price of aggravation. I just spoke with someone in the Phillipines who was gracious and courteous enough to put me on hold and she called UPS because she said, AFTER ALL MACYS PAID FOR EXPRESS SHIPPING.. ..So, who is getting the screws with all of this. WE ALL ARE. I was told by customer service Macy’s having an influx of VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS. stemming from Online orders, to failed deliveries, and instore appearances. THe WHOLE %R^&* system is broken.

Good Luck Mahvash! THey list a corporate number that is NOT in service. I never got my original order of July 16, so they issued a credit, and then reordered at my request and would send out express. THat was June 30. Still have not gotten order as of today, mind you express, and it was a Birthday gift for my Mom turning 89 today. I am hurt that I disappointed Mom again, so I bought flowers and a cake. THis was the last straw of my doing business with Macy’s. Maybe the BBB and Federal trade commission can help you, but I am done fighting the fight. THere are more inportant things in lfe than greasing the pockets of coporate. THe Lord does not sleep, and believe me, they will have their day. SO, my suggestion, dont feed the hand that is biting yours any longer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Whats with the interdepartment communicators in the sale people ears. Talk about taking away the personal touch of the Macy’s SHopping experience, or is it also to monitor the communication of salesperson to customer? or maybe employee to employee. Now that would be an invasion of privacy.. All you need now is one central checkout station, and would be in the realms of Walmart, Target, Kohls.

I have been a customer Macy’s prior Jordan Marsh over 45 years. The quality and customer service is no longer there. I dont shop inhouse any longer becaue clothes are thrown all over the place, and now I am not going to shop online any longer as they have lost my orders 3x in 6 months. Try talking to customer service. Impossible. THey are in the Phillipines. SHame on you Macys for lowering your standards to WALMART hiring the best possible woker at the cheapest price. I am ashamed to say I am an American. I don’t need their aggravation as you cannot put a price on aggravation, and I dont need their balony any longer to spend my Money. Yes, we little and big customers are the ones that make out their salaries, but as far as I am concerned, they bit the hands that fed them.

I have been a customer of Macys for over 25 years and was just appall by the treatment that I have recently received . I purchase some very expensive earring on march 14 2021. The earrings were supposed to be valued at 3000 and I paid 998 for them. Due to the pandemic I only wore them twice and as I was putting them on for the second time for my daughters wedding the hoop broke in two. These are suppose to be 14kt gold and they broke in two.I did not purchase insurance because I did not think I would need because was not going to wear often and if anything was to break it might just be the clasp. Never did I think that 3000 earrings would break in two.I contacted Macys because I did not feel I got the quality that I paid for and after going back and forth with them , I was told they would refund my money and I only needed to send the earrings back. I was sent a letter confirming this and a ups label. I did as I was told and after tracking saw the earrings were received and after calling to check on my refund status was told they were not going to honor their original offer and were going to send back the broken earrings. I could not believe this . First the quality of the earrings were not as promise , they broke in half and Im sure the warehouse saw that, but they actually lied to me and stated that had already process my refund.I know Macys quality has gone down over the years but I did not think that their integrity had gone with it. I have never been treated like this and really don’t see how I can continue to be a customer.I am also questioning the validity of your products and don’t believe the earrings could have been real gold to just snap like that.I would really like for someone to look into this. I am retired , on a fixed income and can not afford a lost like this.Please don’t say contact the credit card company, they only dispute within 60 days.Please Macys do better

I sent an item back to Macy’s the charges were to be taken off ,it took 2mos.My credit is bad , Macy’s decrease my amount from $600to $300 and know it not my fault. Macy’s does not listen, they tell just pay anyway .I have called 8x. Punish for what Macy’s done wrong

I purchased a pair of shoes six months ago for work and they are completely unwearable. They have totally fallen apart. I only wear them to work and I work in a furniture store so they should not be in this condition. I only wanted them to exchange them and they were refusing to help me in anyway. I thought a store like Macy’s would stand behind their product. Especially since it’s only been six months. But not only will they not do anything they don’t seem to care. I will never shop at the store again ever

I went to Macys in Northeast Philadelphia to buy a tablecloth for Easter that was shown online but was not an online exclusive item. I entered the store that I have shopped at for over 30 years and the linen department was no existent. I was directed by housewares to go to the basement of the store to the back stage department. This department had very few tablecloths and none of them were Lenox or the quality of Lenox. I was then told that this particular store does not carry everything we see online because of the clientele and I should go to the Macys in Willow Grove, Oxford Valley, Montgomeryville, or Center City but not the one less than a mile from my home. . I was appalled by this comment. I then called the store manager but was told she was in a meeting and would get back to me. Well, needless to say, Ms. Anderson, has not called me back to date. So obviously, you’re manager is not performing up to anyones standard as well as the quality of merchandise so, let me recommend something for you to consider, if the people of Northeast Philadelphia do not deserve the best products from Macys then close your store. This consumer deserves better.

I have been a Macy’s customer since 1968. I was just at one of your stores and was appalled at the condition of the store. In the section for TheLast Act (which was a pretty large area) there were clothes all over the floor, in the corners of the room, over and under the racks. It was horrifying! I understand that customers are to blame for the disorganization, but at the end of the day the area should be organized and cleaned. I have never in my life seen anything like this.
Macy’s used to be a very nice store. Now unfortunately it looks like a Junk store. Clothes are jammed in racks, the quality of the merchandise is cheap and there is not enough help. Never the less the store should be kept neat and pleasing to the eye. There are stores that I do not frequent like the dollar store. But I have to say that this particular stores are much better shape than some of your Macy’s Stores.
I have several photographs showing the chaos in Macy’s. I tried to get an email to send the photographs to the corporate office but have been able to do so. Since I cannot share with Corporate what I have seen over and over again at this particular store and other Macy’s stores.
I am thinking of possibly putting the pictures on FaceTime in the hope that maybe it will force Macy’s to look at the store presentation and quality of merchandise. To look at Macy’s as it used to be and what it is now.
I would love to see Macys as the classy and great store it once was.

    Same conditions in Detroit and Atlanta. Perhaps you should put your pictures on social media. Unfortunately, corporations are more apt to respond to negative comments about their business once they have been placed online. If you threaten to put them their they don’t care. I see they have not responded to you and today is June 21, 2022. They do not care about your 1 complaint when thousands of others continue to patronize this business and give them more money each and every day. It’s sad but it’s the state of being a consumer in America these days.
