About Ifly, History and Headquarters Information

iFly is a renowned indoor skydiving company. It is a company whichprovides and pioneers in letting people fly and learn flying in an indoor wind tunnel to experience the real feel of skydiving. The headquarters of the company is at Atlanta of the United States of America. The founder of this company is Kirchhoff and currently the Chief Executive Officer is Alan Metni. The company was founded in the year 1998 by opening their first wind tunnel in Orlando. The company is now spread across over 70 countries which include Canada, Brazil, France, China, Australia, Singapore etc. They have a full secured flying system with experts at all managing points. There is always a coach who not only let’s you to enter the tunnel and fly but guides you and teaches you how to control. It’s best amusing for kids and youths as they feel skydiving as a very enthusiastic sport.

  • Student says:

What the iFly corporation needs to realize is that the experienced flyers and students are the ones that bring in a significant amount of money by buying block time and flying on a regular basis. First time flyers become returning flyers and returning flyers become students and athletes which also generate money for the coaches. iFly does not offer any incentive for students or skydivers that want and need to train. Students should get some kind of special pricing especially when they are buying block time. iFly is making it less affordable for students and skydivers. They really need to be less greedy because that is what it comes down to, GREED! The iFly corporation needs to use common sense and start to see how much money students spend and structure their pricing accordingly. Something to thing about iFly!

  • Charmaine says:

I’ve been trying to get a refund since covid, because your company went under and didn’t notify any of the purchasers. Now I’m stuck fighting for over 2 years to get my money back!!!!!

  • Fred Frankel says:

I have been flying since early March, going 2-4 times a week. I love the staff in Rosemont they are truly awesome!! but scheduling and getting blocked time or coaching time is so difficult. I understand that the company makes money from the first time flyers but there really should be some more care given to the consistent returning flyers. Also, I was told after a certain dollar threshold my per minute charge would decrease, I have spent well beyond that and nothing, I am told corporate has to take care of this yet I’ve not been able to get any contact info for corporate to have this looked into. A shame that they care so much about the money they forget the customers they have who spend money at the tunnel on a regular basis and love to fly.

  • Kelly Kennelly says:

Livid!!! I booked and paid for (in full) in April for a date of September 26.
I reached out to the Fort Worth location multiple times only to receive a message (yesterday September 23) telling me they will be closed for maintenance and they want to reschedule.
This date was the date we built our trip around.
One would think they’d be more proactive letting their bookings know in advance

  • Ed says:

You should sell patches to sew on flight suits, unique by location. So I can show where I’ve flown, or just as a keepsake.

  • Weekly tunnel flyer that is upset. says:

Ifly uses IBA and they are a joke. There are levels you can achieve, yet if you go to another facility where people do not know you then you will be treated like a beginner and your time wasted. Many tunnel rats in this company. Fort Lauderdale will not return your complaints sent via feedback survey, requesting to be contacted. Rusty at IBA admits each facility will error on the side of caution, making you waste your time to prove yourself with tunnel rats in the tunnel with you on your bill. Would love to hear from corporate. Still to this day, months after I have not been contacted.

  • Eric W says:

How do I get ahold of someone by phone at iFly? I purchased a voucher for my niece and her friend, went online and scheduled it. But now I need to change the reservation by tomorrow or I will lose my voucher. However, no one ever answers the phone at the Cincinnati location and no one returns calls. So how can I change the reservation if I can’t get ahold of anyone? Please help! Thank you.
