About Hersheypark, History and Headquarters Information
A theme park located in Pennsylvania, Hershey Park is a point of attraction for kids and adults alike. The total numbers of attractions are 76 including roller coasters and water rides to name a few.
The park is around 112 years old, having been founded in 1906 by Milton Hershey. The idea behind the establishment of the park was to provide the employees of the Hershey chocolate company, a leisure park for their fun and entertainment activities outside of work.
The first ever ride to be opened for visitors was the Wild Cat ride in 1923. This was followed by a host of other rides and roller coasters. The area of the park was spread over 45 acres which also consisted of a zoo called North American Wildlife Park.
It also has a Hershey’s chocolate Park which consists of a special ride that is chocolate themed and various shops and restaurants.
