About GTE Financial, History and Headquarters Information

GTE Financial is the business name used by GTE Federal Credit Union, that is a credit union in America; with its headquarters located in Suncoast Blvd, Crystal River, Florida, USA. The company is managed and chartered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and as recorded in 2018, it has well above 262, 538 members.

In 1935, the organization had started off as Peninsular Telephone Employees Credit Union and was meant to serve Peninsular Telephone Company. But later in 1958, the Peninsular was merged with GTE, gaining the organization its name  GTE Federal Credit Union.

It was only from 2012 that GTE Financial came to be the business name as the organization thought that the name was well-suited given the full financial services that they provide to their customers. GTE Financial offers a wide variety of services for its members, from home loans, auto loans, vehicle loans, student loans, to personal and private insurance, among others.

I am a GTE member #2236277. I have two auto loans with GTE. I have also had a HELOC with GTE. I tried to get a mortgage refinanced three years ago and never got a call back from anyone. I refinanced my home with someone else. I went online yesterday to get a new mortgage because I have sold my present house and wanted to get a quote from GTE. The software online told me someone would call me in the next 60 seconds. I am still waiting. What’s going on over there?
