About Giordano Pizza, History and Headquarters Information
Giordano is a pizza chain based in Chicago, USA. Known for their Chicago-styled stuffed pizza, they are one of the most popular of all the pizza chains of Chicago. The first of these was started in February 1974 by two Italian immigrant brothers- Efren and Joseph Boglio. They were from the Italian city of Turin, where their mother’s special Easter stuffed pizza recipe was quite popular and loved. They brought this recipe to America through their pizza place after working at another pizzeria for a short period.
Giordano’s is currently operative in the areas of Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota, Nevada, Florida, Colorado, and Michigan. Apart from pizza they also offer Sandwiches, starters, salads, desserts, beverages, and other Italian specialities. It also has an online platform where orders can be made and many other services can also be availed like catering for lunches, events, and parties. It is planning to open its first Dayton location in 2019.
This is my second time at the Minooka Illinois restaurant. The first time was during the pandemic and the pizza was just cold and no good. We went there the second time and 12/04/22. The pizza was just not good. We went there at this location because my cousin lives nearby. I usually go to the location in Orland Park and it is great. PS our server was by herself and she was great. Thank you.
We went to your Mokena, IL location and the manager there was very rude. Giordanos is my favorite restaurant and I was very disappointed at the service we received. We walked in and we’re not greeted the manager just said 2 and I said actually we are gonna have four and he grabbed 4 menus and I asked if we could have a children menu and the manager literally threw the menu back on the podium as I was inconveniencing him, and he turned and walked toward the table set the menus down and walked away. We were pretty annoyed at this point we ordered a drink and paid for it and then left. We have not been back since. The manager that night was very rude and unprofessional. We visit that location about 3 times a month and this was by far the worst service ever.
I picked up a pizza from the Bloomingdale location.i noticed the employee that was kneading dough had long hair in his face and shaking his head as he kneaded. I didn’t say anything. when I got home I called to say my order was wrong. The manager said probably his employee made a mistake. I then asked “the same employee that is not wearing a hair net and his long hair is in his face as he’s kneading the dough?” His response was, “yes “. And I’m well aware of his hair”. I then asked him if he was aware why he doesn’t correct it. He was very rude and and asked what I wanted him to do about wrong order as it was a mistake. I said nothing but the employee without a hair net is NOT a mistake and if he doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with that I would call corporate. His response was “Corporate has been here many times”. I then said that maybe then I should call health department . He said I should call anyone I want. I sure wouldn’t want a manager like that representing my business
