Where is Friendlys Corporate office Headquarters

Robert, I feel your pain. I have been a customer for the same amount of time and the last three 1.5 quarts (what happened to a half gallon? oh yeah lost that a few years back) of chocolate chip ice cream might as well be sold as vanilla for all the chocolate chips that were added to the carton. Must be another way to increase profits and rip off the consumers. The company has just lost customer number two!

What happened to the Wattamelon ice cream roll? I really wish you would bring them back! 🙁

What happened to your ice cream? What are you putting in your ice cream containers that you’re trying to pass off as ice cream?

Friendly’s is horrible. All of a sudden they suck. Wish I could post the photos of the tubs of Cherry Vanilla that are vanilla with a Cherry on top. Never ever will I buy this junk. Customer since 1975!!
No more stores but in the grocery stores. They are dead to me!!

My husband, Alan Suchowski, was a general manager for Friendly’s Restaurant, the last one being in Hackettstown New Jersey before he died
He passed in 2009 and I was just told as his widow that I’m entitled to his pension, which would be great, to help pay for his daughters college payments.
If I could apply for Alan’s pension please let me know where to do this. I would have asked sooner but I had no idea this is the case.
I do have all needed documents, marriage and death certificates, my social security cards with my maiden name and married name, Suchowski.

Today, we visited the Danville, PA restaurant #4007. We had an impromptu visit to the hospital, so I decided to treat my son’s full-time nurse to lunch afterwards as a “Thank you for all you do”. I was starving and hadn’t eaten all day. We had our choice of Perkins or Friendly’s. My usual choice is Perkins because they have the fried pickles my son adores, and it is something he will and can actually eat. However, we both made the comment that we pass Friendly’s all the time, and we say we’re going to stop because we haven’t been in so long, but we never do. I realized, upon seating, why it had been so long since I had been there. This isn’t my first complaint about this chain. However, it had been so many years that I decided it was worth another go. I get it, it’s busy and well…. Covid. It took approximately 8 minutes to be seated. Not too bad. When seated we waited another 10 for our waitress to come with the menu’s and to take a drink order. She had a “you’re inconveniencing me” vibe from the get-go. We got our drinks and she said she was going to give us a few more minutes to go over the menu. With an almost 20-minute wait, we had time to look the menu over and decide what we wanted. We both decided on the same thing. The cheese skirt burger and fries. Quick easy and simple…. at least I thought. My son is in End Stage Renal failure and is dietary regimented and restricted. Our nurse is a diabetic. So, as you can see, time is of the essence in getting them fed promptly. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. When it came out, our nurse’s burger looked NOTHING like the picture and Cheyenne (our server) commented on it. Our nurse said her burger was so greasy, the bun was soggy. Upon inspection of my burger, in the outer “Skirt” of the cheese, there was a short white hair. I waited, and waited, and waited some more for the waitress to come our way so I didn’t have to be rude and yell across the restaurant to her just to get her attention. I observed her looking in our direction. However, she kept going the opposite way. She kept talking to a shorter lady sitting in a booth on the other side of the restaurant. I assumed it was a fellow employee getting ready to come on shift, so I thought nothing of it. Finally, our nurse went up to the counter where Cheyenne was standing and said, “When you are finished, can you come to our table so we can talk to you about something, please?” The response was a nasty attitude filled glare. A few moments later she came back, and I explained and expressed my concerns. I had told her that I had found a hair in my burger and my napkin was dirty. There was a brown spot on the inside of my napkin. She quickly snatched both out of my hands and said “Ok, what do you want done about it?!” I said nothing. My nurse chimed in and said, ” I want to know what you’re going to do about her meal….” She looked at me got an attitude and said “Well, I’m going to take it off the check. Is that OK with you?!” and she bent down to snatch both of our plates up with the nurse still having food on hers that she was clearly still eating. I looked at the server and said “Listen, we don’t need the attitude. We just need our check. ” ” EXCUSE ME! I DIDN’T GET AN ATTITUDE WITH YOU! YOU’RE NOT GOING TO TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!” I said, ” Ok. I waited 45 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers. I have a diabetic and a CHILD in RENAL FAILURE sitting at this table. Time is of the essence in getting them fed.” ” I’m going to get my manager! You are NOT going to talk to me like that!” I just said “Ok. Please, do!” the lady that had earlier been sitting in the booth she was speaking to walked over to me. Again, I expressed my concerns and she said “Ok, it was taken off of your check I don’t know what more there is to do about it.” I said your waitress was rude!” She argued with me about the rudeness of her waitress. “Listen, I just want my check. It has been a long day and I want to go home” She brought the check and when I went to pay it, she said “You know what, I’m going to take care of that check for you.” I told her she didn’t have to and that I was completely fine with paying for what we had consumed. I got. ” YOU WERE RUDE TO MY WAITRESS. WE ARE SHORT STAFFED AND ALL I HAVE IS ONE LITTLE OLD MAN WORKING IN THE KITCHEN. JUST LEAVE!” I turned around and walked out. My nurse stopped and apologized profusely, and I said, “Come on, there is no reason to apologize.” which was met with ” IT’S OK. YOU DO NOT NEED TO APOLOGIZE FOR A RUDE PERSON YOU HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!”

Some other concerns we noticed:
*My nurse observed a small child under the age of 5 roaming the floor behind the cashier stand and walking back into the kitchen.
* When the manager FINALLY got up and helped her staff, she went to take an order at a neighboring table and was just plain rude. I even made the comment to my nurse (before the dispute) “Have you noticed, the waitresses in this place are really rude? There has only been one nice one and it was the one who seated us.”

I know this complaint is probably going to fall on deaf ears. I say that because, every number I have found on Google for corporate isn’t a working number. And when I tried to fill out the survey, the website wasn’t working either. It asked me for a location. When I clicked on it, nothing would come up. When I tried to proceed without it, it wouldn’t let me go any further until I put in the location. I have tried on my laptop and cell phone. Same result both times.

Purchased Friendly’s ice cream bars the entire package was freezer burned and I was unable to open each package you have to rip it apart there’s all kinds of brown stuff and the ice cream had a brownish hue to it. I don’t know what happened with this package very unsatisfied

WHAT I’M WRITING ABOUT IS I DIDN’T GET A COUPON FOR A FREE SUNDAE FOR MY BIRTHDAY WHICH WAS LAST WEEK ON JULY 3. I USED TO GET ONE EVERY YEAR. DO YOU STILL DO THAT?
