freightliner charlotte nc has had my truck for 17 days on a 8 hour repair. Every day they tell me it will be ready the next day and yet its day # 17 and still no truck. How do you get repeat business with service like that.

I took my truck in on Oct 19th for a dot inspection and to increase the governor. I had to go back 3 times for the governor increase. I received an email today stating I owe them for the same service and because it’s a driver error for not turning off the overdrive switch. I never turned it on. I just purchased the truck 3 days ago. I would like a call from corporate to resolve the issue. This is a horrible first-time experience.

I attended the ATA conference (I’m retired now, but my company was a member forever) in Las Vegas the year Phil Collins was the headliner at your by invitation only event. I attended that event and sat at the table with your then CEO (8 top right in front of Phil’s mic center stage). As always, it was an outstanding event & Phil did not disappoint. Knowing all his music, I sang along with every word. During his encore of Sussudio, he stepped off the stage and motioned for me to stand ad we shared the mic to sing the entire last verse. It was an incredible moment and I have for so long wanted to reach out to see if you have a copy of that performance that I could somehow gain access? This would have been in 2004 or 2005. I’d very much appreciate a reply, and thanks so much in advance for at least reading this message

I bought a 2021 last year and it had a little over 100k on it and for the most part was working great for the second truck and I was doing a delivery and 3 lights came on the dash so I got her back to the shop and called the dealer because there is still warranty on it. I’m going on 4 weeks out of service now, tear 3 is what they are calling it. I’m hearing it is the ECM and it’s not covered under warranty? Really? So please explain to me why I would want to buy another one? Like a lot of the other gentleman ladies drivers on here I’ve now had a month without income payments still come in, insurance for the month, registration for a month and now I’m told it’s not covered under warranty! When did we lose so much pride in our work in what we build that we turn our backs on the people that feed us? Companies used to be great! Come on guys are you going to push everyone away? I’m told at the local level they are going to try to help me but really corporate greed is killing everything!

I bought a $4000 part on 11/09 and paid more overnight shipping but I never received the part, I’ve been in contact with the employees of Dayton, Ohio(where I bought the part from) and I am still yet to receive a refund for a part that they lost.

It’s time to get a class action against Freightliner and it’s stores . Each location is independent from the others and don’t want to do the warranty work that the other locations performed. Premiere and Doggett freightliner carries the freightliners name and represents freightliner but don’t want to do the warranty work. I’m looking to file a class action against the freightliners name and the independent store. If you’re interested, please contact me at O3rdstring1@gmail.com

Thanks

We have a 2014 Newmar Dutch Star with a Freightliner chassis. We’ve started having problems with the air suspension system. I called Freightliner in Tucson to make an appointment to get the issue resolved. I was curtly told over the phone they will not work on anything made before 2015. Really? And it’s a Freightliner chassis. This does not reflect well upon the company. So where do we now go?

Straight to it. Freightliner sucks. Going to be in shop 2 days for derate. What happened to being able to start a regen? Answer, its about the money. Fuck the one out making it. Same attitude dealerships have. Shame on you. Do unto others, ever heard this half of quote, here goes other half, hope one of your trucks run over a family member take something from you. I remember freightliner back in the day was awesome trucks. It’s a disposable piece of shit today.

Hi! To whom it may concern. I’ve been a Driver for 22yrs. Husband 45 years. We live in Yuma, AZ. When we are home and need repairs its hard for us. Only 1 shop for Frieghtliners. Wondering why the other Companies have shops here and not yours? Would Love to have one here. My Company won’t authorize a repair at the only place to fix it. My husband is an O/O but still has problems at times. We have a high rate of trucks here that could use your services. Thank You.

I purchased a 2016 Cascadia with a 2 year 200k warranty from Metro Freightliner in Canada and brought to Tucson and now have it in Velocity Truck centers in Tucson. They presented me with the repair quote and I was required to put down 50% since it was over 5K and let me know they would only take $2500 from a credit card and the rest would have to be wired or cash before they would start or even order parts. When I went down to take a cashier check for an additional $2500, they had posted on the cashier window their forms of payments and under credit card in small print it says there is minimum of 5K. Which they took down after I took a picture of it and said they changed to $2500 on 1/1/22. To get cashier check and take down to there shop took most of the day to get done and now the parts got ordered a day later on Friday which pushes back the repair even longer because of weekend. If I was allowed to use a credit card it would of have been paid right away and parts ordered . I wanted to find out if you know and or condone this practice from your affiliate dealerships that represent Freightliner ? I know that Metro Freightliner has no credit card limit because they do not want limit there customer’s that use them in the first place and they know trucking is a hard enough business . I would think the $170 an hour rate at Velocity would have a built in operational cost to cover the overhead of doing business. I also am worried about making this complaint on a public form and being black balled or railroaded at there locations in Arizona, seeing I do have a used Freightliner truck warranty that can only be used at your dealerships which are all Velocity Truck Centers in Arizona from my understanding. If I knew what I know now about Velocity Freightliner dealerships and living Arizona I would of bought a different brand that was more pro customer relationship and went with a win win approach to business. I looked for other ways to contact someone on the website and did not see any and I look forward to seeing a private or public response if you prefer. Thanks from a Cascadia owner

I have a Winnebago 2013 Tour built on a Freightliner XCL chassis 10P-75025. I just bought new tires and need a front end alignment. My local Freightliner dealer and hour away in Pharr TX won’t do a front end alignment and the next closest dealer is 2.5 hours away. Freightliner 1-800-FTL-HELP 24/7 DIRECT won’t give me the alignment specs so that I can have the tire dealer do the alignment. Instead they invited me to come to South Carolina to have the work done. My tires could be ruined by then and driving to the Corpus Christi (2.5 hours) or San Antonio (4 hours) Freightliners is really not a good option either IF they would even do an alignment. Please Help.
