I’ve been trying to get someone on the phone having no luck. Was given an extension for the day before payday. So the kids and I will be in the dark until payday then they want more money on that day. They know they are wrong that’s why they won’t allow us to talk to live customer service. This is so sad do better FPL

FPL IS THE FUCKING WORST. They don’t fucking care especially the fucking employees. They are LAZY AS FUCK. They need to shut down or someone needs to take over. All these previous comments, don’t seem that they change or will never.THEY DON’T FUCKING CARE. This company needs to fucking burn down. THESE FUCKING RUDE, DISGUSTING, NASTY animals they call employees that they have over the phone, don’t need no damn job. CORPORATE DOESN’T FUCKING CARE. So why even bother. I lived in other states and they fucking care for their residents and provided customer service. You guys WOLL NEVER CHANGE!!!

Disgusting company!!!! My elderly parents have been trying to get FPL to fix a broken sewage pipe that was done by them. FPL came out to do some work in their gated community and on their property. My elderly parents don’t have access to their toilets so they have to go across the street and use their community bathroom. They do this at night time as well. FPL says they are not responsible because they contracted that work out so that company is responsible. When asked what company came out, they said they don’t know. I’m furious and will need to seek legal representation soon!

This is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with, it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone and the corporate headquarters number routs you to the worthless customer service number. Took them over 3 months to change out a faulty meter that was showing usage 4 times higher than it should be, now they want to charge me a late fee after it took me all these months to get the bill adjusted because of their faulty equipment.

Hello I am a customer with FPL my account number will be 21142- 45372 now I have been living in this resident that I moved to going on a couple of weeks my bill is extremely high which you should not be I don’t know if FPL is charging or still charging me for my old address that those lights are not even cut off at the old address and was supposed to be discontinue October 31st it’s very displeasing to me that FPL would charge me a total of $170 for November 14 2023, also the new charges y’all is charging me for residential service $9.48 base service charge is $118.22 non-fuel $30 electric service charge $157 and this do not add up correctly I do not want to speak to FPL customer service because they are very rude and disrespectful and the matters do not get taken care of I am hoping and praying that y’all is not charging me for my old address which should have been closed out October 31st of 2023 I think it’s very unfair and somebody needs to get back in contact with me as soon as possible $170 for my new bill at my new address is totally incorrect my number will be 850-621-8316 if somebody could please get back in contact with me from corporate this matter really needs to be discussed thank you kindly

I am an FPL customer in Vero Beach. It seems I have been paying $9 per month for “voluntary Solar Program.” I do not recall signing up for this so I called FPL Customer service. After a 46 minute wait, I was told that I signed up in 11/19. I asked for proof that I had oked this and at that moment the Rep hung up on me. I was not about to wait another interminable time for the same answer. I am appealing to FPL corporate to look into this and hopefully refund my $9 oer month since 11/19. 3261 Sussex Way

WHY has my bill gone up $148.08 since May!!?? In May is was $211.71, June $304.23 (WTF!!), July $323.11, Aug $345.45, & Sept. $359.79 NOTHING HAS CHANGED!! I am doing everything I can including sitting in the fucking dark at night!! How do you sleep at knowing you’re just stealing people’s money & screwing us all?! This is an absolute outrage!! You’re Customer service people can’t even justify it…they just sound like robots repeating what they’re told to say…I WANT ANSWERS!!!!! I can’t even contact the corporate office. The number provided brings me to the automated system & then back to customer service. You’re crooks who don’t give a shit I guess. like I said I WANT ANSWERS!!!! REAL ANSWERS!! You now have my email. I EXPECT a reply with a real number for the corporate office.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I had my meter changed in mid May. Its now August 28th. Ive called FPL CS 12 times since the meter change and spoke with the energy dept but meter is still not registered. Tomorrow, is reading day. I just got off the phone again and meter is still not registered. This means the next bill (tomorrow)will be another estimated bill and next months as well. How hard is it to enter 7 characters in the computer. Get my God damn meter registered. You are over charging every month. I take photos of the usage every month as proof. I’m out of work and can’t afford being overcharged.

My appoimnet to energy study will cancel without previus notices, today i waiting to FPL servics at Home but nobody call me at this time and the system to acces to my account do not work. Power went out 2 days ago in the city of Miami Gardens affecting 179 customers . We were without power for 8 hours.
Power out again affecting 179 customers. I guarantee those same 179 customers are impacted again. Why wasn’t the problem resolved two days ago. Billion dollar company yet we can’t keep power on for two solid days. No one wants to do the job correctly. I’m disgusted!

Not one rep is knowledgeable in regards to their job or has any feasible or information to provide of value to us as customers. You make 18.8 million dollars a year and can’t return 60$ of which was added to two separate bills for a returned payment fee in which was a mistake on your fucking end WHICH WAS PROVED when I provided you with email verification from my bank! This is just ONE of the MANY problems I have with you stupid ignorant fucks! ALSO FIX YOUR POLICIES, half of them waste money and don’t use time wisely nor efficiently!!!!!

I was told by Mrs. Johnson my deposit is scheduled to be refunded in January 2023, not March 2023. I filed a complaint with the utility commission. I have been late a few times since COVID because I lost my job. WHO HASN’T? She tried to get my deposit refunded now instead of January, but was unsuccessful. You have had my deposit fit 2 years and you made me pay a balance on a false account before you started my new service. I was told to send in proof that I never opened that other account. I went to the property address you gave me and I got a notarized letter from that landlord stating he did not know he, nor did he rent me that apartment. You gave done NOTHING about that either. It is PITIFUL that such a large company cannot understand the impact COVID has on so many of us and actually penalize us by holding our deposit longer.     I am trying to get answers too, but the same answer appears when requesting a service rep. “That option is not available”. The way to solve this is simple: Go to my florida.gov and contact AG Ashley Moody and file an on-line complaint. They are the best. Spread the word since everyone is having similar problems. Hope this helps.

I am absolutely disgusted with your company I cannot believe The amount of customer service personnel at your company that do not care at all about It’s customers I have been going in circles for a month with the most rudest people ever. my meter was not working it has been replaced and now its working now they’re asking for permits to be opened and closed for no reason. Why if they re placed a meter and its working fine is there is a problem. it’s disgusting how your company will not allow anyone to call and speak with the corporate offices.. I will be reaching out to all of the media sources that I can to discuss this with them how dare you not respond

I pay thru certified funds through my bill pay at my bank and fpl rejects my payments because my acct is on cash only but the payments are cashiers checks so now i have 3+ payments not processed equalling $1600 in cert funds that FPL wont process…. You literally have all the ‘cash/good as cash’ payments just accept them!!

Why does it seem you are dodging CUSTOMERS with no ability to call for assistance yet you enforce Direct payment to be sure you are paid. This is the worse I have seen in all my years as a Paying Customer that we have NOONE to talk to regarding this OUTRAGE amount of a BILL for a person who lives alone and has worked from home for over 2 yrs to know how much electric is being used. SHAME ON YOU FPL!!! I will STOP PAYMENT immediately if you continue to think that your automated system is helpful for every situation.
Educated humans know the direction that can be taken and how POWERFUL Social platforms have become. You need to provide a direct number to customers to discuss immediate concern for a Bill that went from 70-$80 in the Summer to $120’s.
SHAME on you – acting like another CORPORATE hungry Business stealing from Americans after PPN received and BUSINESS recovery loss $$$ that we THE PEOPLE were not privileged to.
