I will never stay at four points again. I was there at the Houston west location from 12/30-1/1. And I paid through a third party. I get there expecting to just pay for the room incidental which is 25 a/nt which would have been 50 for me. They charged me 153.57 for the stay. I been calling that location for days and still no one had gotten back to me about my money. Next I will be reaching to the corporate office. Someone needs to pay me.

Blessed Self,
I am currently staying at the Four Points at LAX. When I booked my reservation, I was not informed of a $50/night parking fee. That’s an additional $100 for 2 nights. I then found out that there is a Union Strike?! Was awakened by drums & screaming. Since staff is being runned by managers, they were kind enough to discount my parking(only by $25) When I lovingly mentioned the “strike” noise, they attempted to move me, but the room was literally half as big. I declined. My biggest problem is there are no blackout curtains actually covering the light. Yes, there are blinds, but the entire light of day doesn’t seep through, it blares. Think it silly to have blackout blinds go up to the window, but not cover the window?!
Also, when I walked into the room, none of the lights, tv, or fridge were working. I couldn’t see the electric cords to plug in, because there was no light. Trusty phone flashlight to the rescue.
Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet for $23 is HORRIBLE! Atrocious be because the workers are on strike?
My point is, I am paying over $250/night for accommodations & service that is no better than a $100 Motel6 stay. I was treating myself to a special weekend stay away and have spent my entire time trying to either inform your establishment of issues or trying to find eye masks & ear plugs in order to provide my own self with a pleasurable stay. That’s not cool for THAT kind of money!!! Sick & tired of not receiving customer service & corporations not caring if they are providing the service that they offer and that I PAY for! Rude. Disappointing. Unacceptable at that price. Could pay ⅓ the price & get better facilities, service, & accommodations.
Sheraton, PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES a living wage! Upgrade your facilities! Take some pride in your company, so those who work for you will do the same instead of chanting on a pickets lines.

Dear Mr. D’Souza,
I am writing you to comment about the excellent care and assistance my family and I received at your Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Midtown West due to the personal attention of Mr. Marvin Eastman. During the July 12-16, 2023 interval, my wife and I hosted our two sons, their wives, and our four grandchildren. We occupied 19 room nights, and when the flight home for one of my sons was canceled, he occupied two more room nights.

Our stay was more complicated than most in that my wife required a rental wheelchair delivery and pickup to and from the hotel. Mr. Eastman’s kindness, patience, and cooperation made our family reunion more enjoyable.

Mr. Eastman’s attention to detail was exceptional and I jokingly remarked, I wished I could take him home with me to manage my life.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Wayne, Sue, George, Ana, Amy, Noah, Andy, Jessica, Ruby, and Rose Bizer

I booked (and paid) for my 2-night reservation at Four Points in Sherwood Park AB. Upon checking in the guest services receptionist confirmed that the stay was already prepaid, yet my credit card would be required for the mandatory security deposit. Instead, I found out on my next credit card bill that I was charged again for my 2-might stay! I have called 3 times to speak with the manager and have gotten no response. I am working with my bank to get this matter resolved. I’m curious as to how Sheraton/Marriott head office wishes to proceed…whether or not to take ownership and provide my immediate refund + for such unprofessionalism and lack of customer service or not. I expect an immediate response to this matter, as my (now forgettable) stay at one of your hotels was from May 19th.

I am appalled the way my son and I was treated while we stayed at Four Points by Sheraton in Niagara Falls Canada. First, I was booked and paid to stay for 9 days there.
On the morning of our 7 day stay, my son stepped outside for a smoke and on him returning to the lobby he was stopped by an Indian security guard who asked him if he was staying there and his answer was “yes”. As he continued walking he was followed by this security guard who asked him to leave the promises. My son answered no “ do you want to see my room key.” The guard then continued asking him to leave and then threatened to call the police in which he actually did.
My son then confronted the the front desk clerk who had checked us in ; and asked her to tell the security that he was paying visitor there . She then denied seeing him checked in and laughed . He then asked to speak with the manager who came out. He informed the manager about the unpleasant incident , showed him his key card and also verbally gave him his room number .
The manager never gave an apology but rather laugh it off and said it was ok for him to go to his room.
After my son informed me of this terrible incident , I proceeded to the lobby where I then asked to speak with the manager. The manager by the name of “ Pauline “, was polite. How ever she said that she was unWare of this incident just merely hours before. Should not an incident of this magnitude be reported at the change of shift report.
I filed my complaint., canceled my stay and move to another hotel. Nothing was credited to me canceling my stay there. In fact because of this it incurred my expenses to my vacation as my son felt threatened to stay here.I’ve written my phone contact and telephone contact; handed it personally to “ Pauline” the manager and am yet to receive an official apology for my son and only child being racially profile because he’s black and has dread locks. He stated to me that he has never felt so bad in his life to be treated that way. Why do you think so. Because he’s “black”. He’s a permanent resident of Canada and has been living there since 2013.
I am requesting a written apology from this company or and legal action will have to be taken .

One Pissed Off Guest - November 14, 2022

On Monday November 7th I Checked Into The Four Points Hotel On BayMeadows Rd In Jacksonville FL, During My Weeks Stay, I Was Charged A $50.00 Dollar Deposit Not Once But Twice.

So Today.. November 14th I Went To Make A New Reservation, And Was Informed They Were Completely Booked.

So As I Was Walking Out The Front Door, I Overheard The Two Ladies Talking Underneath Their Breath About How I Was Smoking In The Room, Which I Assure You…”I WAS NOT”
So At That Moment I Felt I Had The Right To Stop And Defend Myself. However, Before I Was Able To Speak, One Of The Women Then Said….”I Was Trespassing & Needed To Leave”
I Have Never Felt So Disrespected, Not To Mention How Unprofessionally Rude She Was To Me In Front Of Other Guest’s…

Now, Not Only Was I Being Spoke About In Front Of Other Guest’s….!!
Unable To Defend Myself For Something I DID NOT DO…..!!

AS I WAS SITTING THERE WAITING FOR MY RIDE, THEY COMPLETELY SWIPED OUT MY VACK ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE..!!

Not That This May Matter, However I AT The Moment Am 7 Months Pregnant, I’m Homeless, With A Recently Stolen Car, I Have No Friends Or Family In This Area, And Now I Can’t Even Check Into A New Hotel Because “FOUR POINTS ON BAYMEADOWS IN JACKSONVILLE FL. Robbed My Bank Account Dry!!

Hello I am a guest at your lax location. I have been harassed since my stay by guest and staff. I am applaud by how rude and invasive my stay has been. My confirmation number is 3548678096, Almija Allen room 720. The cleaning staff stayed outside my room from 8am until after 8pm. I had loud conversation directly in front of my room and had weird lights flashed under door through out day. I don’t feel safe and my privacy has been completely invaded. I will be calling to talk more about the homophobic harassment I had to endure. This location should be ashamed of how it treats its guests. Please email me at allenalmija2@gmail.com if you would like more information.

Re: Sheraton Four Points, West Lafayette, Indiana

You might want to investigate this property – when my spouse and I drove up, it was poorly maintained, landscaping in disarray, empty planters, huge potholes in the parking lot with very few cars, cigarette butts on the ground at the front entrance; I thought it was abandoned!

Inside was a step into the past. Very dated furnishings, a potentially attractive atrium in desperate need of pruning, and our generous guest suite that looked like it had the original furnishings from 1990. Furniture was worn, some veneers missing, lampshades with cracks and holes, and a kitchenette with NO accessories (like minimal cutlery, dishes, glassware, or even dish soap and paper towels). It was clean with the exception of the very full trash bin under the sink.

This property is noticeably overpriced as well, as compared to the nearby West Lafayette Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn that are HALF the price with FREE breakfasts and working amenities. Our 4 Points breakfast was OK, but cost $6 to $8 and the hot items seemed severely overcooked. We both suspected they may have been leftovers.

There also was an obvious water leak in the corridor near our room, with a huge trash can collecting the drips from the ceiling, and a full-time drying fan positioned on the carpet.

The guest “Suites” are all near Door Exit 4 – and I was a bit concerned seeing broken exterior door hardware with NO security. ANYONE could gain entrance unnoticed at this far end of the hotel, a definite safety concern. I did see 2 police cars positioned in front of the abandoned conference wing, perhaps to deter further vandalism.

This is not located in a “bad” neighborhood! It’s located at the north end of the town, adjacent to Purdue University, near fairly recent apartments/condos, the interstate, and commercial areas. There is no excuse for this poor maintenance giving such a terrible first impression.

Now the positives: I’ll give credit to the staff, as they were cheerful, friendly, and helpful, from the front desk to the maintenance guy (who quickly brought us working light bulbs), to the breakfast attendant, and we never lacked for caring service. I felt badly for them having to field numerous complaints where they have so little control.

You should check the numerous reviews dating back 3+ years with the same issues I’ve mentioned. Most guests are of the “never again” variety and we don’t blame them. The management “rebuttals” keep stating that the property is due for renovation, yet nothing has been done. What IS the plan for this hotel? Will it ever be brought up to Sheraton/Marriott standards?
