B. C. Forbes and his business partner Walter Drey established the Forbes Magazine in September 1917. Forbes was initially a columnist at the Hearts Papers, whereas Walter Drey was the General Manager of the Wall Street Magazine. The original name of the publication was ‘Forbes- Devoted to Doers and Doings’, which later changed to Forbes.
