Why doesn’t food depot care about their employees? And why are we not making $15 an hour, like McDonald’s or Kroger? Do yall know how hard it is to struggle from paycheck to paycheck? It’s very hard. Especially when we get paid every 2 was. This is so wrong… Does the founders know that a ft cashier only makes $8.65/ hr… how is anyone supposed to live off of that. That’s why food depot can’t keep their employees. Yall need to wake up and pay attention. Before yall start loosing business bc yall don’t have any employees.

Tanieka the managers at your 5600 milgen rd, Columbus GA 31907 store. The store is #60. Refuse to honor the a incorrect price on the shelf. Not only did she stay in the office when the cashier called for help. The cashier had to go and get her out to help get the line down. I’m very disappointed on this day. I have always have great customer service at this location but not today.. I was asking another worker about the store manager name. The cashier told her not to help me because she was off duty. I didn’t appreciate being talked about between Ms Tanieka and my cashier.

Hello…I thought you might like to know why you are losing customers at the Warner Robins Food Depot. I have been the victim of a scam for no less than three times. When I get home and put away my groceries I notice items are missing. I couldn’t figure out how this was happening. I thought the woman who checked me out was dropping bagged groceries on the floor behind the counter where I could not see them. She does this when I am busy loading up the conveyer belt with other groceries. This may be happening but I cannot prove this….only strongly suspect. I did however uncover an additional scam which I brought to the attention of the manager. I use the electric shopping carts because I have neuropathy and have difficulty walking for long distances. The carts are great. When I check out I ask for the groceries to be put in a regular buggy so I don’t leave the electric cart outside or have the added burden of driving the cart back in the store. When I do this the woman who bags my groceries pushes my cart over to the entry doors. I presumed this was to be helpful. It is not. There is a black woman who enters the store grabs a few bags and runs out the store. This is when they think I am not looking because I am putting the electric cart away. The black woman also has an accomplice. This is a Mexican looking person who after the scam, I remembered, seeing him before, standing by the coin counting machine (also near the entry doors). This time (late morning Black Friday Nov 26th) after I was putting my cart away I noticed the entire shopping cart was missing. I ran over to the door seeing the black woman running off in the parking lot with all my groceries. She had another buggy side by side (touching) my buggy being pushed by the Mexican. I yelled as loud as I could (‘Hey Stop”). Everyone in the store and parking lot heard this. They stopped and I went over there as soon as I could. The black woman tried to make out that she made a mistake and thought my buggy was the Mexican’s buggy. I was just helping my friend and he does not speak English. She made it quite clear that this buggy must be mine and the other buggy was his. She was quite apologetic. I grabbed my buggy and returned to my car. After arriving home and putting my groceries away I noticed missing bags of groceries. It was then that I realized that the Mexican’s cart was also full of my groceries. Immediately after grabbing my cart, when I was not looking, the black lady put a handful of my grocery bags into the Mexican’s cart. I went back up to the store and asked to speak to the manager. When she arrived I explained the entire scam to her including the fact that the checkout and bagger employees were in on it. I also explained that this was not the first time I arrived home missing groceries from Food Depot. I always thought it was the checkout employee or customers grabbing my bags of groceries as they walked out the store. I did not realize that this was a scam perpetrated by Food Depot employees. I also explained that I saw the Mexican loitering (not buying anything or using the coin machine) before when I had missing bags. The checkout employees must be familiar with this man since they must see him often. The manager let me shop for what I thought was stolen and did not charge me for these items.
I was patronizing Food Depot with at least $600 per month. I like the store brand “Essentials” and the selection of items I buy often. I like other customers refuse to go back to Food Depot and will spend my money elsewhere.
If you have video surveillance cameras, I ‘m sure you caught the whole thing on camera. I would polygraph the employees involved and prosecute everyone involved. It would not surprise me to see the black lady is a relative of one of the baggers. I also believe the stolen items are somehow returned to the store for the money. So it might be a good idea to check for that.
