Hello , I went to your location on 12/22 , I had reservations for 7 at 6:30. I was celebrating my 21 yrs Anniversary’s with my husband and 5 kids and unfortunately didn’t enjoy our stay . It was the worse Anniversary . The place was so hot to tolerate. The vent was on top of us . The lamb came by once . We constantly has sausages . I told the waitress several times by time the Mgmt came to acknowledge us it was dessert time . My husband and I went outside to the front of the restaurant to get fresh air. Got to speak to the Valet Rep while outside. The waitress was very nice but overwhelmed. We waited a while for drinks / sauce for any concerns we had. Had to settle for 1 sangria and water. The location was understaff. I have spoken to two staff members and left a comment on your app and no one from Mgmt called me back except customer service on 12/26 after I called on 12/26 and spoke to Esmeralda who asked customer service to call me. Diego ( person who called me) said hopefully next time it would be better. I’m surprised after spending nearly 500 I thought someone would be concerned and invite my husband and I back .I selected this restaurant based on the reviews.
Hopefully someone from Mgmt can be considerate and contact me I would really appreciate it.
I do not think you would want me to share these comments.
I was at your Oak Brook location last night and had horrible service. We had 5:15 reservations and were seated at 5:15. By 5:30 we hadn’t even been acknowledged. I went up to front and told them which a server then came to our booth (last booth in bar area) and took our order for drinks. A gentleman came to table with filet, we had no plates! We were then brought plates but barely anyone came to our table. We could see in the restaurant servers serving guests all kinds of meats but not in bar area. We did not receive the following meats:
Spicy sausage, beef ribs, costela, lombo, bone-in beef ancho and bisteca de porco! This is totally unacceptable! Our bill was $342 four people (1 child) + $70 tip. I would like to be compensated something for our dinner as I feel we did not get what we paid for.
nk you for communicating back with me Teresa. I’m sorry to hear about your surgery. That being said the entire event was poorly organized and was not executed according to the contract we had. All of my guests paid for their drinks despite having being charged the Diamond package. On top of that sodas weren’t offered and my guests were going to the bar for water. The 2 servers that were assigned to my wedding were not enough for the amount of guests I had nor for the 2 hours of drinks that were part of the package. They tried giving out green cards for those guest who had chosen the Diamond package An hour into the event but only 12 cards were handed out and still people were paying for their drinks at the bar. On top of that My guests including myself were told that the drinks that they had ordered were not included in the package. Myself for example I asked for don julio añejo and was told it wasn’t included. The meat that was offered was mediocre. Only sausages and bacon wrapped meat were truly offered and one sirloin and they only came out for about 20 minutes which you can look back onto your cameras. There was supposed to be a fish option and we were told it was no longer available. When more food was asked they said that they didn’t have more because they were preparing for dinner. My family doesn’t even drink and were never even offered soda or water. My niece didn’t even get her chicken until the party was practically over and it was cold. The service was just not to par, no one came around to check on my guests and offer drinks. My husband had asked the manager when we got there for the champagne toast at 2:30 for all of my guests and it was never even attampted. He also asked for a cable to display videos and it never came. My wife asked to speak to the manager twice and was never addressed. How were 12 meals discounted when one guest was a baby, my niece which was 5 and I had a guest who didn’t eat because the fish was never offered. The salad bar wasn’t even completely full that when I went to eat several things were missing. This was the most important day of my life and the whole event was poorly organized and was not to what we had talked about in my contract. The biggest surprise came when the bill came the dessert was still included on there on top of 42 Diamond packages when only 12 cards were handed out and drinks were denied. I was completely disappointed if I’m being honest. In conclusion I have the receipt of what I was overcharged including the dessert. My guests have their receipts of what they were charged. I have a copy of the contract and so I hope that we could reach and agreement to correct what was not promised or completed.
