About Floor And Decor, History and Headquarters Information

The company was founded in the year 2000. They provide superior quality of the flooring, with products like the showrooms and prices like the warehouse. They have the largest collection of tile, wood, stone and all related tools that are used to fix these things up.

They provide solutions in tiling, stoning, flooring, laminates and vinyl, and even decoratives and flooring accessories. They also supply the installation materials required. They have opened what they call Inspiration Stores where one can come and feel for himself the quality of products and select the favourite one they like.

They buy directly from the manufacturers, and that is what enables them to provide the products and services at the cost they do. They also provide help with the designing and selection process and also have a 14 day supply hold facility in case the customer needs them to store their items.

The headquarters of the company is located in Atlanta. Find the contact address below:

Worst customer service I’ve ever received! Would never recommend the Riviera Beach store in Florida

My husband and I had the wonderful fortune meeting Hermi, Pro Specialist, in the Orlando, FL store. We had purchased a couple of months earlier Optimax flooring and were looking for a transitional piece. We looked locally at Home Depot, local floor specialty store and Lowe’s with no luck matching our floors. As we went to the Pro Desk, at Floor & Decor, Hermi said hello to us and asked how she could help. Told her what we were looking for and she said, lets get the Sku number and we’ll match it up. Hermi immediately took us over to the exact flooring color that we needed, I was thrilled. Other locations did not come close to the color needed. She explained the different types of transitional pieces and how they work. My husband and I asked her about window sills and she said let’s take a walk. Heading over with her, she shared many helpful hints about installation and other things that we hadn’t thought about. When we got there, I saw a glass transitional piece and I said that can’t be strong; Hermi encouraged me to pick it up. Surprisingly, it was solid and heavy. Hermi was a great representative of Floor & Decor and we’re so grateful for her help!

  • Steve Fulco says:

This was absolutely the single worst experience we ever had with a home improvement store, we went to the floor and decor on rainbow in Las Vegas to look for tile for a big job in a condo we recently purchased. We were met by a young man who took us to a similar tile to the one we brought with us. We had a match and we’re off to a good start, we had seen the price and were ok with it, I asked him what is the price to install and can you recommend a good quality installer? He explained confidently that the average price is about $5.00 per square foot to install and that floor and decor only uses one company exclusively ( northern Nevada floor ) he then called over the representative from northern to set up a date to measure our job for an estimate. This is exactly what we wanted, one stop shopping from a big company, when the representative from NNF came to our home she was great, she quickly measured and figured our quote on the spot, it was more then double the $5.00 per square foot estimate that the floor and decor rep quoted us. It was over $10.00 per square foot! Ok…so the representative at floor and decor needs to be trained , we figured because they only use one company exclusively this type of miss information would not happen. After speaking with Paul from northern Nevada floor ( great guy ) we decided because of his knowledge and input to stick with him and buy the supplies from floor and decor. At the time of the estimate we were told that our “shopping list “ will be sent to the store so we can buy exactly what the job requires for the installers. When we went back to the store to buy the $5000.00 in tile and supplies nobody knew what we were talking about, we had waited by the grout area for over 45 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We finally asked for someone to help us pick the grout color, the guy who came over reeked of cigarette smoke so so bad it was offensive, the shopping list was a mystery to him. After 2 hours waiting around we finally were taken to the design team, Freya was able to help us pick the correct grout and get the order placed, they nickel and dime you for every little thing, then they charge you $475 to deliver it to your home. $475 ! I can see $150 or $200 but $475 is a complete rip off! The bottom line is the system is disorganized, nobody knows what’s next. The reason we went to a big store was for a easy one stop shopping experience, this was stressful. The delivery window is 8am to 6pm, this is as inefficient as you can get, kill 10 hours of your day. This will turn out to be a 14k job, and I did most of the work, save your time and money. Go to a smaller store and operation with personal service, a place where people pick up the phone and know about your project, most of our neighbors are redoing their condos, we can’t recommend floor and decor but we will recommend northern Nevada flooring. Also they were supposed to call us 35 minutes before delivery so we could have someone there to let them in, they call us from the gates, not 35 minutes before. This company is absolutely terrible, and will do nothing but cause you more stress then you need. Stay away. They don’t care about the customers. Floor and decor, no more….

  • Steve says:

I paid $350 for a delivery charge for flooring. I called back to have it delivered to a different location close by. Now they says I need to pay $188 more because I made a change to the order. Seriously….

  • Olivia Rodriguez says:

I visited a store today located on Addison in Chicago Illinois and their employee Eric Graham was very rude and unprofessional I simply asked him where something was located and he asked me what do I look like a directory. I was highly disappointed, needless to say I will never visit the store again!

  • john ferzola says:

must be by design i am having the same problem with the wesley chapel store in fla. order not complete, on hold forever and noone calls back what a terrible company of course now i am stuck with them because i already paid the installer also has my deposit.

  • Brian Holinko says:

We purchased 1,000 sq.ft. of flooring in your Naples, FL store today.
We had to rent a truck from Home Depot, they told us we would have to wait 2 hours for them to use the tow motor
It’s a beautiful store, but seriously only 1 machine.
    Unexceptionable.

  • Janet DiNardo-White says:

We ordered flooring on July 9th from the store in Paramus NJ. Our order was delivered today – INCOMPLETE!
Trying to contact the store is IMPOSSIBLE. No one answers the phone, and after holding on for a long time, the phone simply disconnects. We have gone in person and we’re told that someone would return our call – never happens.
Our product could have been ordered at a box store. We decided to order from Floor & Decor, thinking that dealing with a local store would be more seamless!
    What a disappointing experience!
I hope that this will – finally – elicit a response.

Over a year ago I help my daughter remodel her kitchen and bathrooms, and not only did Floors & Decor finance these projects but gave us a “Military Discount.” She lives in Virginia Beach, and it was great to have another choice besides Home Depot or Lowe’s that offer these discount to Veterans. Yesterday I went to the new stored that opened in Humble, Texas and was told none of your stores offer this discount. Is discount for veterans no longer important to Floor & Décor? I’m on a fixed income since retiring and I’m deeply hurt that I’m forced to going back to Lowe’s and Home Depot because I have to save every penny since I’m now on Disability. I just didn’t understand why some stores honor this type of discount and others don’t. Is there a big loss in revenue offering veterans this discount? I do love your products and would love to be able to purchase there in the future.
