    RE: Reservation H4985P

    To Whom it May Concern,

This document is directed to the senior management of Fkair Airines and hopefully it will reach the CEO.

Last Saturday, my wife and I had the misfortune of flying Flair from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Toronto. Our flight was scheduled to depart at 10:25. We arrived at the airport at about 7:30 and, even though we had the our pre-printed boarding passes in hand, we decided to also check in at your ticket window.

When my wife asked if the flight would depart on time, the response from the ground representative was “it’s delayed”. My wife then asked how long. The response was a very terse “one hour”. We then checked through security and proceeded to the gate, only to wait and wait without explanation. When the representative finally arrived at the gate, we were required to get another paper boarding pass. We departed from Ft. Lauderdale at 3:00, a delay of 4 1/2 hours.

We returned to Ft. Lauderdale the following day. our scheduled departure time was 12:30. We arrived at the airport at 9:30. We departed at 5 PM, another 4 1/2 hour delay with no explanation.

We were disgusted with the lack of information provided to us and the rudeness and dismissiveness shown by your Ft. Laurderdale ground staff. We were also disgusted by Flair providing food vouchers by mobile device. Did anyone at the company consider the possibility that some people may not have mobile communication capability? Further, we were advised by other passengers that most of the food vendors at the airport would not accept the vouchers and your own vouchers were NOT accepted on the flight.

My wife and I have logged over 1,000 hours in the air with over 40 carriers and we have never seen anything even close to to the incompetant level of service by your ground personnel. It is worth noting that your in-flight staff were as helpful as they could be given the fact they could not even provide complimentary bottles of water to the passengers.

To make matters even worse, yesterday, I tried to call your toll free number. I was on hold for over an hour. It is true what has become fashionable to say: Your call is important to us. Please stay on the line until it is no longer important to you.

Both my wife and I will tell everyone we know about these flights and recommend that NO ONE ever books a flight on Flair.

    Please respond if you dare.

    Dr. Howard Mendelssohn
