Factory Connection Corporate office Headquarters

On August 3, 2024 I went to Factory Connection located at 308 Beckley Plaza, Beckley WV 25801. I was walking toward the plus size clothing, when the manager asked if she could help me find something. First, I should have rights to look around at the clothing. Second I watched to see if she was treating the rest of the customers as I was being treated. She never asked the white customers if she could help them find something. Thirdly, why was she judging me by the color of of skin? I asked the manager to the reason she asked if I needed help finding something, but she didn’t asked anyone else. Her reply was” I haven’t had a chance. You just trying to get something started”. Are we back in JIMCROW Days. Maybe she should place a sign Whites Only. Finally, I hope the company will reprogram her behavior toward people of color. Thank You.

August 28, 2023 I went to the Factory Connection in Magnolia Arkansas. Usually I don’t have any complaints about shopping there, but this day was different. I walked into the store and the cashier was talking to another customer. While they were talking, I was looking around trying to decide what I was going to buy. We were the only people in the store. When the other shopper left, the cashier walked up to me and she said I really didn’t look like the type, but she had to use the restroom and would I not steal anything while she was in the back. I was so shocked. I could believe she had walked up to me, and said that. Never in my life had I stolen anything. That was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I stopped trying to shop, and headed toward the door. She called out saying it was just a joke. I told her it wasn’t funny as I exited. Please advise your hiring managers to hire individuals who have common sense, and etiquette.

I recently resigned my position at your Eastman, Ga., store, and I was treated extremely poorly. Your manager Valerie was extremely unprofessional. She refused to speak with me about why I was resigning, and kept raising her voice, continuing to get louder and louder. I told her I feel like we need to talk about this and she refused. I went in the store around 1:00 today and she walked out of the store very quickly and went next door to the grocery store, I tried to call her to see if she would come back so we could talk face to face, she had her phone but refused to answer it….then called me back and just kept screaming into the phone refusing to let me speak. There is no way to talk with her when she feels like she is always right. She is very unprofessional.

I came into the Hazard Ky, store last Saturday with a friend. I was treated awful and I have tried to contact the home office several times and no return call to tell someone what happened. A friend and I had several Items some was marked down and some was regular price. I got up to the register and they would not give me discount price as it was marked even a employee was standing there and told the manager they marked the pants down and that is what they were ringing up. They were ringing up as regular price the store manage would not give me them for the marked down price so we left all of our and items and did not purchase anything. They had a whole rack full of mark down items and if my mind don’t change I will not be back in there.

Store managers get away with everything, from depositing money late to coming in to work 15 to 20 mins late, leave for lunch and don’t clock out and it’s nothing done about it, the district manager turns the other cheek and act like she’s not aware. It’s not the company it’s the district managers

The asst.manager in the Harrison Arkansas store is very rude I was there today and I will find a new store to shop for clothes

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN TRYING ON CLOTHES AT THE STORE VERSES ME BUYING THEM TAKING THEM HOME, YOU NOT KNOWING IF MY HOME IS NASTY OR NOT, AND BRINGING THEM BACK IF THEY DON’T FIT? THIS IS THE DUMBEST THING EVER. IF YOU LET PEOPLE TRY THINGS ON AT THE STORE AT LEAST YOU KNOW THE DRESSING ROOMS CAN BE CLEANED BY YOUR STAFF.
