I am looking to report the actions of Doneall Collins. I have been trying to explain to him why I was overcharged $88 for my personal training contract that I started June 2023, but I was told after so many times of calling the location by the front desk that he is refusing to talk to me. I have already filed a formal complaint to the BBB, but I’m happy to provide more information once I’m able to speak with a person in leadership.

The only corporate phone number I can find is not actually a corporate number, but rather another location in Phoenix, and when I try and fill out a feedback form, it says an error that it can’t be submitted.

EOS Gym

The comments feature on my local gym’s website hasn’t worked for moments so I’m commenting here with the hope that someone from the corporate office will see it.

My family and I uses the Cinema Room as apart of our daily workout four days a week in the St Rose location in Las Vegas and I would like to know why the gym NEVER follows the monthly movie schedule???

For the past three months the movie schedule hasn’t been followed. Not even close. Movies are being shown that aren’t on the schedule. Why publish a monthly schedule if you aren’t going to follow it whatsoever???!!!!!!

My name is Melissa, I have a disabled sister who got a membership at EOS fitness. She did not want a PT trainer. She canceled it within the 3 days and yet they are still withdrawn money from her account. It is ridiculous because she is on disability and it is hard for her with her income. She’s been calling and calling. No one is helping her. Everyone is always unavailable or in a meeting. No one really answers the phone. This is a 24-hour location. Why in the world is there never a manager available to speak to? Why are they always in meetings? My sister is on a fit income and they are taking her money which is unfair. No one has reached out to us after many many calls. This is the worst gem ever by far. So I guess planet fitness it is. Screw you EOS fitness.

I had a personal trainer and she quit. I was told by Julia that Mason would be taking over my training. I work out at 4:00 AM because of my work schedule. I happened to be at the gym and met Mason, and he confirmed he would start training with me. He reached out to me one time, I reached out to him 3 times with no response. I went to the gym on 08/23/2023 to speak with fitness manager and Mason was at gym. Mason said he was not available to train me at 4:00 AM, I asked to speak with fitness manager, Ja, Mason said he’d told Ja he couldn’t train me at that time and Ja was supposed to contact me.

I have not spoken with Ja, nor has he made any attempt to contact me, however, my account was debited $156.00 for training that I’m not receiving.

I wish to have my contract voided and my $156.00 credited back for a trainer I’m not working with and any other monies paid to the gym, back to my checking account and have my membership cancelled. I am instructing my bank to stop payments on all monies being presented by EOS.

I wish to have someone contact me with confirmation of cancelation of my membership and my account credited $156.00 back plus any other fees associated with my account.

Respectfully,
Kimberly Anderson

The management staff at the Brandon location are horrible. Nobody knows anything I went as a guest and asked for help the front desk people are clueless. Maybe you guys should send someone to check on your business and teach the staff how to answer basic questions. Where in the website can I find anything. I’ve been going there for about three weeks and everyday. On today the rules have changed and I couldn’t come by myself when I was going everyday as a guest. I was very upset when I left the woman who said she was the manager has a horrible attitude.

I been coming to EOS nearing two years and this last three months has been the worst. The ladies bathrooms locker room and sauna don’t get cleaned. Floors disgusting trash everywhere. I don’t get paid to clean but clean up.cause it’s gross. Can’t check I. As staff don’t have passwords. Can’t buy drinks cause systems don’t work. Tired of getting surveys of management don’t do anything about it! Please help 83rd Ave camelback location!

I went to EōS on Riggs and Ellsworth. I entered with my children to have them join the children’s club. I was directed to go to the children’s club and have them create an account. After much time an account was created to add the children’s club and with only minimal time left I was told to check if my children can enter because there are reservations. Eos has you pay a monthly fee for child care but does not guarantee your child a spot during their child care times. Then the child care worker told me my kids could enter it was fine. After I walked away the childcare manager approached me and stated I needed to get my kids because they were not to be there and they were in danger because I didn’t setup an account. I told her about the situation and she insisted I was wrong and she will get the manager. The manager on duty was a sales manager and he too agreed the workers were acting disorderly. I asked for the workers names and the two females that approached me stated they will not give it to me. They also threatened and used intimidation to have me kicked out. My children were present and witnessed the lies that were told. This worker is a child care worker and put my children in danger by her actions. Pam the child care manager decided to retaliate on me because I would not walk back with her to the front desk and said she was kicking my children out of the center and they were left unattended which they are now deemed unsafe. I could not believe what I was hearing. Even after I had called for a manager the manager was busy with a sale that he told them he could not come to assist during the time these two attacked me on the gym floor. I asked a simple question and it only irritated Maria the assistant who works front desk and Pam the child care manager. Had the workers handled the situation professionally and properly these events would have never taken place. I didn’t randomly leave my children unattended and I definitely did not expect my children to be thrown out and mistreated by a child care worker. Pam should not be around children entirely with the behavior she has displayed. Maria should not be in the position she is in with her distasteful actions. These two individuals are a liability to the community and should not be left unattended with guest and or children. I have never experienced such poor treatment from a gym facility ever and this has been the worst ! Although the manager apologized for their actions he stated he was going to allow them to make their own decisions as that’s their own choice to interact with guest. I am contacting the proper authorities to further this issue and hope Pam and Maria are taken out of the facility as they are unprofessional and a danger to children and others. It’s unfortunate my little children were put in intentional danger interacting with Pam and Maria.

I was playing basketball at the Eos on 59th ave and the 101 when someone stole my bag took items from the bag then left it on the restroom floor. I talked to both managers of this facility and a month later no response. They have cameras facing the basketball court and it would be easy to identify the thief but I guess that’s too much work for them. The fact that they have members or visitors stealing from other members and refuse to do anything about it shows this company only care about one thing and that’s the money you pay monthly. I’m here now to cancel my membership and head back to lifetime where it’s more expensive but atleast I’ve never been stole from there and they show care for their members. Eos is not the place to be!!!

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO UTILIZE EŌS FITNESS CENTER AND SIGN UP FOR PT, UNDERSTAND YOUR CONTRACT. WHEN IT SAYS “MINIMUM PLAN TERM AND A MONTH TO MONTH CONTINUATION AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THE TERM”. If you do not want to be charged beyond your term plan PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE know when contact the facility on TO END YOUR SESSION TO AVOID FURTHER CHARGES!!!!!! Don’t call a week or two week’s early because that won’t count. Set yourself a reminder for the date of cancellation or you will be screwed. I made the error trying to communicate early with the facility that I would no longer utilize the training session when my 4 month term ended, and I was still charged 3 times. The same thing happen to my daughter and her friend when they signed up for a regular membership and was supposed to get 3 free training sessions for joining EŌS. And because they did not CANCEL by the third session they were charged. How do you get charged when they were only getting 3 free sessions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please stay alert for their shenanigans!!
My loss EŌS gain!!!

Alfonso Quinones - June 22, 2023

Hi, my name is Alfonso Quiñones and I’ve been a member of Coral Springs Florida’s EŌS since December 2022. And with all honesty I truly enjoyed the gym and all its amenities (specially taking advantage of my black membership). However, an incident that began about 3 weeks ago had me reconsider my membership and loyalty to the company.
As I finished my workout at a specific treadmill on Saturday the 10th around 5:15 pm I left behind my $250 AirPods Pro. However, I wasn’t aware until next morning around 11am when I decided to plug them into the charger. So I proceded to track them (since these AirPods have a very accurate tracking system).
As I tracked them it shows me that they’re still at the EŌS gym. But at the moment I had a really time sensitive and very important errand to run and couldn’t get to the gym until 2:30 in the afternoon. When I got there I explained the situation to the front desk staff member, so he followed the usual protocol of checking the “lost and found” section, but they weren’t there. Yet at this point my iPhone is showing me that the AirPods are moving around somewhere inside the gym, so I proceeded to follow the tracker. After walking the whole gym for about 10 mins (through a “Far” or “In Range” setting, kinda “Hot or Cold” type of thing) I come across just a couple of feet from two of your staff members when my tracker turns fully blue indicating I have arrived at the location of the AirPods. And to be clear, around the area we were the closest people are quite a few 5 yards or so away, yet every time I moved just a few steps away from the staff members the tracker immediately tells me I’m out of range once more, but when I move closer to them the screen turns blue indicating once more that I’m at the location of the AirPods. I explained the situation to the staff members I tracked it to but they denied finding any AirPods. One of them, a trainer, pulls his older version of a pair of AirPods which are narrower than the pros and asks me if they look like them, which I said no because mine are AirPod pros, which are wider.
I didn’t want to make a scene so I talked to the front desk and told him that if anyone wanted to be honest and come forward with my AirPods here’s my info and gave them my name, phone number and the de device I was looking for.
I proceeded to squeezing in a work out as I’m paying close attention to their moves and tracking the AirPods, which for most of the time we’re still roaming around the gym.

At the end of my workout, around 4:30 pm, I noticed that one of the two staff members (the trainer) was gone, and when I check my tracker the AirPods are in an address in Margate FL (7731 NW 29th St, Margate FL) which is just 15 mins from the gym. Now, it’s important to include the fact that whoever had the AirPods had been, at least, since 11am till 4pm roaming around the gym with my headphones. It’s highly unlikely for a costumer/client to workout for 5 hours, which lead me to conclude that it was in fact a staff member and in this case this specific trainer.
After I finished my workout I decided to talk to the front desk who adviced me to talk to the next person in charge who titled himself as an assistant manager.
I sat in the office and gave him all of the information, the exact treadmill where I left the AirPods so they could check the cameras as well as the exact address my iPhone tracker is telling me the headphones are at the precise moment. He said he would investigate, talk to his district manager and check the cameras, etc, and then he will contact me as soon as he has the matter resolved.
I gave them a few days. Almost a week and I never heard from them. So I went back, and the same assistant manager tells me he didn’t have the chance to check the cameras (note that I told them the day after I lost the AirPods), but that he had reached out to the district manager. Then they pull out a pair of AirPods Pro out of the “lost and found” and paired them to my phone but it indicated that they were under the name “Juju’s AirPods” and were clearly not mine. He tells me that his trainer had brought those back in confusion thinking they were his own, but when I first confronted the trainer a week before he’d shown me his old version of the AirPods and weren’t AirPods Pro. I asked your assistant manager if he had checked that address were the headphones had been tracked to after leaving the gym to see if it matched his trainer’s and he said, nervously… I quote; “Um, yes, I think so”.
What more evidence do you need? But he proceeds to tell me a narrative of what must have happened which was that whoever owned “juju’s” headphones may have taken my headphones by mistake when they came for them, however, when you pair your phone with a different set of AirPods it immediately indicates who’s AirPods are they. But it’s all to throw me off track. Your assistant manager was trying to cover the trainer, and your trainer was trying to cover his butt (pardon the expression) by lying to me and I found it very disrespectful.
I forgot to add that at this point I checked my tracker again and they were at a different address (1527 NW 80th Ave in Margate FL) and later that day the were moving west toward Wilton Manors in Ft.Lauderdale.

On the morning of Saturday the 17th I wake up to a text sent at midnight the night before which read, “hi, my name is Alejandro and my friend found your headphones on the floor in a pride event. Can I return them to you?”. So obviously I said I’d really appreciate that and we coordinated to meet, got my headphones back and thanked him. Even though I wasn’t all convinced about his story and it was all a way to get the headphones back to me without repercussions.
The next day I went to EŌS to terminate my membership because I couldn’t get past the disrespect and the poor handling of the situation by your staff. And as I am explaining the sales guy canceling my membership why I’m terminating the membership, I proceed to tell him the whole story ending with the text from the so called Alejandro, and ironically enough the guy tells me “oh yea, there’s a reason why Alejandro doesn’t work here anymore”. Which confirms my suspicion that Alejandro was a decoy used by your trainer, who is still working and training in your facility, while stealing costumer’s personal belongings just to throw me off the lead without any consequences to him.
Today, on the 22nd I was charged $28.99 for a month that I will not use in your facility since I’ve been put in the position of having to open a membership elsewhere.
This is bad for you company’s reputation, at least at that location. It was handled poorly and I should not have to pay for a month which I will not use after trying to steal the belongings I work really hard for, and it’s also a heads-up to costumers who might loose belongings they work hard for as well.
Once more, my name is Alfonso Quinones, my phone number is (407)765-5316, in case there’s any concern for professional courtesy, or any questions on the matter. Thank you for your time.

P.S.
It is my mistake that I do not have the names of the assistant manager or the trainer. However the assistant manager was the only person in charge during the weekends of June 10 and June 17.

Surprise, AZ – Canceled my membership for the summer, said they were charging $5.99 due to account being on “hold”, they charged $21.99 on 06/07 and then $46.99 on 06/16. Called to talk to the little girl at the front desk, she told me “too bad” and hung up on me, now nobody there will answer my call! I’ll take my business ANYWHERE else.

Signed up to EOS a couple weeks ago. Was told there would be no signup fee, just monthly charges. A charge has come through my back for $70. I’ve tried to call the club to address the issue. I’ve just rang the front desk for over 15 minutes and no one answered. I don’t think there is any system that in place where anyone actually answers the phone, at least for the Tampa, Ehrlich Rd location. The only option I’m given is to leave a message, which I just did. Let’s see if anyone actually calls me back. Based on my experience with EOS, I feel pretty confident that’s not going to happen.

Hi,I am a member and I primarily attend the riverview facility in riverview Florida. The primary reason for my complaint is that the men’s sauna is very dirty and dark, not good. I have been complaining about the problem for several weeks now and I complaint has fallen on death ears hopefully this will be addressed. By the way the lighting situation, someone is continually tampering with the bulbs. They should have been placed behind the wall. Thank you for your concern.

They hire inexperienced inadequate personnel to work the front counter and interact with customers. The desk agent offered to get a manager because he didn’t like my comment about “not having to fill out a form in the past”, then when I said yes get the manager he told me to “go find him yourself”. Also told me to go call my husband, as if he was going to do harm. Spoke to the the manager and he could care less. You get what you pay for at this gym.

My son is just out of high school and signed up for a gym membership to work out with his friends and the person told him he was signing a waiver and it was for personal training now they are expecting a high schooler to pay 2000+ dollars for bad debt when we were told his membership was cancelled months ago. Have heard nothing for 3-4+ months now all of a sudden they want 2000+ from a teenager. No one can do anything and no one ever calls back. Avoid this place it’s awful.
