On Dec 22nd at 9:30 PM, I returned my vehicle to the Embassy Suites Hotel valet located on New York Ave and 10th St. NW, Washington, DC.

Five minutes after entering my room, the valet called and said when they turned on the car, the windshield wiper came off.

It rained throughout the day and evening so I’ve been using the windshield wiper without any incident. I told the gentleman on the phone that there was nothing I could do about the car so I’ll see about it in the morning.

Upon checkout, I picked up the vehicle and realized the the windshield was irreparably damaged. I’ve submitted information to the valet company however outside of acknowledging the incident, I’ve not heard back from their insurer to remedy the situation. I’ve not been able to drive my vehicle, my family and I have been inconvenienced, I’ve had to get a rented vehicle for the week between Christmas and New Year but now we are still without a vehicle and no response from the valet’s insurance company.

We would like your leadership to get this situation rectified so we can continue with our daily lives.
