I joined edge fitness along with my god son and when we signed our contract we were told that our first month was free. We joined in August 2023 and September was suppose to be free and know charge until October1,2023 but to both of our surprise a charge came through on our cards on September 8,2023 for 37.99 hmm 🤔 and I then signed up for a trainer for 219.99 a month supposedly a personal trainer that never can’t his end of the contract he never gave homework or contacted me in between training whenever that was suppose to be know clarity at all then I was told I had to go on a different site for my homework so I guess I was suppose to know this why? This hold circus service was a carnival ride and I’m sick and I want my money back and I want out!

a current gym member at the West Warrick RI location before I signed any contract with Matt who was the sales person that sold me the membership I was told that my family can come to the gym and that the kids could not use equipment but they do have a designated area he stated yes I explained to him that I have a family a wife and 3 kids he told me they could come I had gotten the highest he said it was unlimited and that I can bring my family and one guest I agreed to those terms finally bring my family and we have a problem they want each child to have a membership I’m very displeased with your salesman sales tactics and not honoring what was told to me that lying to customers to get sales I will be reporting this and canceling my card this is fraudulent and I will let my co workers and everyone know exactly how your company operates lack of integrity honesty and straight up frauds.

As a new client we were told that we would get a health assessment to meet with a trainer. The initial was included in our package. I received an email saying that the appointment had been rescheduled to 11:00. We showed up and CHECKED IN at 10:50. While waiting at the club I received an email that the appointment had been canceled. I approached the front desk and they said they would talk to the training department. Upon returning, they rescheduled our appointment for 11:30. An email was ALSO sent and I was happy to wait in the club. I was then approached by trainer “Greg” who told us that unless we were planning to book personal training packages he didn’t have time today. My response was, “So basically you have time, but only if I pay you more money even though this health assessment is included in my package?” He just looked at me and said, “Do you want to reschedule?” I said no and have been trying to contact corporate. I have all that documentation that we were there on time, and the trainer was sitting at a desk. Unwilling to be invested in corporate policy as part of a membership perk unless we were paying more money.

For anyone who would listen…The st ann location in St. Louis is horrible …the people at the front desk never know what is going on…never helpful…the daycare service is unorganized…the people they work in there are unprofessional and rude…

I’ve been with Edge Fitness gym (Delran) for over 3 years and I have been a paying consumer in good standing. I brought a curious guest with me who was invited to come back on a one day pass by staff member “Eric.” My guest and I were treated at the front desk like we were two orphan dog’s. We were detained at the front desk as my integrity was being challenged about the one-day pass my guest was allotted by their own staff member. I was embarrassed and deeply insulted. The staff member who detained me is named “Adam.” This isn’t a isolated incident with this guy as I believe this guy needs diversity training. This was the first time I tried to bring a guest to join the gym, but this guys unprofessional watch-dog behavior completely turned off my guest!!
