To whom it may concern. Today at approximately 6:38pm 3-21-24 I went to dtlr for my daughter some shoes I’ve just gotten off of work and she has a program at her school tomorrow and I work in the morning so I wasn’t going to be able to get her shoes the next day. I knew I had time cause DTLR close at 7p.m. I got there went to go in at 6:38 doors were locked I knock and waved and yelled out ARE YOU GUYS CLOSE cause the workers was all there looking and not saying anything. Then a guy went with his hand and said we close. I said really it say 7pm it’s just 6:38pm they all proceeded ignoring me and not paying any attention. I stood out there till 6:45 and and a knocking to see what’s going on they Yell real smart and said WE ARE CLOSED. I left then I call in the store a young lady answer I said hello what time you all close she say 7pm are you close now she say we close at 7. I said ok then why are your doors lock at 6:38 and I just left and you all say you close if you close at 7pm so you all close up 20 mins before closing time. Some guys starting laughing and they were way disrespectful. I let them know I work in retail and that’s bad business and I will be reporting this. It’s very unprofessional, rude, and they were total disrespectful and cursing at me saying call who you want we don’t give a fuck it’s total nonsense to have workers like that and bad for the business. I don’t know the shift names who were working cause I never went in. But on 3-21-24 at 6:38 was when I experienced bad business at DTLR. And I was also told but others who was trying to shop that they always lock up 30 minutes before closing. I’m reaching out cause it was bad and workers need to be fired cause they were disrespectful and cursing. You all lost 4 customers this day. Please reach out to the employees…, Thank You! WoW!!! My mouth is stuck open after reading these reviews. It really makes me feel like it would be a waste of time to leave a review. It seems this platform is for venting purposes only because no one from the company responds. I will say this though, I have NEVER gotten any bad service from the Hampton roads VA stores. They are awesome!! Now, on the other hand, I went to the Camp Creek Store in Atlanta Georgia and it was a totally different experience. The “manager ” cussed me out, refused to sell me my merchandise and tried to make me leave the store before giving me corporates information. All because the sensor on their merchandise came loose and stuck my sister in the toe. I asked if they had a incident form and he refused to give us one saying it didn’t happen….??.. I called customer service immediately and a report was taken. Needless to say, I haven’t heard anything from them. I have spent alot of money with this company but not anymore. I really hope the word gets out because they really do not care about their customers.

This place is garbage. My husband bought me $200 Jordans for Christmas and they were to big. So I took the receipt and the shoes back to exchange them. They were out. So they lady told me she would refund it to a gift card and I could order them online since they don’t do cash refunds. I ordered online and they took my money off my gift card and then cancelled my order. This was 2 weeks ago and I still can’t get in touch with anybody about where my money is.

This place is joke. They will not let us return a Christmas gift that was bought more than 30 days ago. Da’y and Q who claim to be managers are rude, disrespectful and apparently racist as they had no problem helping their same race! Typical

Went to DTLR on last Thursday to get a pair of UGG boots at South Dekalb Mall 2801 Candler RD Space 51 & 52 very disappointed the entire store smelled of Marijuana and all of the employees there were children in the store and older people and all the employees were talking to each other and using explicit language on the floor and at the register to each other did not care who was in the store.

I just visited your Clinton, MD store and was very impressed with the young gentleman who assisted me. He was very helpful and polite. Service was going very well until it was time for me to check-out.
I was waiting near the register to check-out and I believe it was the store manager who came over to ring my items out. She came over to the register with an attitude and mumbling that she’s going to close the store early. She then stated, I don’t know why people come in here at the last minute to shop! I asked her, the store hours. She stated we close at 7pm but I’m closing at 6:15, this was around 5:15 or so. She continued to complain the entire time that I was at the register about customers coming into the store.
Please do a better job when selecting managers for your store and teach them customer service skills. She definitely demonstrated very poor customer service skills and should be reprimanded for her behavior.

I just visited a store in Jacksonville fla and was treated like shit by a manager. This is the worst ever. Please watch and screen who y’all hire before they make y’all Business go down..

So my family and I walked into the store to put in a raffle for some shoes. while we at the counter giving our information to the employee a girl walks over and ask if we could move to the side we said cool. So I guess we didn’t move fast enough for her she then tells the guy employee to let her see my name so she can throw my tickets away.and boom 💥 that’s where it got ugly .. so again watch who y’all hire

I bought a pair of Jordan flights that came out in June and the shoes I bought were two different shoes one shoe is an original version and the other shoe is a fake version I went back to the store to exchange they wouldn’t let me exchange so I left the store with a pair of new shoes I paid 150.00 for and they don’t match .. I thought DTLR sold real shoes but apparently they don’t .. I will never shop at DTLR again I’ve spent a lot of money there and I find out they don’t care about the customers along with the fact their merchandise isn’t even a legitimate brand..

Frustrated Customer - December 9, 2019

Unfortunately, I don’t normally leave reviews but this is something I clearly wanted to pass along. First off, before I begin, where’s the “minus” five stars.?? Any who. I experienced an unacceptable display of customer service and lack of professionalism at the DTLR in Laurel, MD Town Center. About a week ago, I spoke with the store Manager Ms. Monet Johnson on December 2nd in regards to the Christmas Toy Drive for the highly anticipated release of the AJ 11 Breds. Ms. Johnson communicated that the release ticket given would guarantee your shoe size upon the purchase donation of a brand new toy over $10 with a receipt. In order to purchase the AJ 11’s on the actual release date of Saturday 14 December, you would need to bring your ticket that should’ve been given out today at the Laurel location. To make matters worse, on the same day (DEC 2nd) not even two minutes after my initial call, I called Ms. Johnson back to ensure no miss communication was given an to confirm she was “ABSOLUTELY” certain of the distribution date. Ms. Johnson than stated that she was the “store manager” and she was 100% certain that she would distribute the release tickets on December 9th @ 10am. Of course I had to make arrangements at my job to be there by planning and preparation. How else would I be able to afford these costly shoes? I was there with my toy. Matter of fact, first in line. Today was supposed to be a good day because not only was I giving but receiving too.. so I thought. However, five minutes before the store was to open, a gentleman came out and mentioned before the line that there were “NO ADULT” size shoes. Of course to my surprise, I was distraught and completely livid. I said a few expletives to say the least (don’t hold that against me but I was pissed). The people behind me were sharing in the same frustration and disappointment. Some people hoped in their cars trying to visit other locations. Not me. I was still there asking questions because I couldn’t understand what he just conveyed like it was in foreign language. How could this be? Why would a store manager say today and then release the tickets a day before on December 8th? Did Ms. Johnson give any other customers a call back after she guaranteed today. If she did, I sure didn’t receive a call. Ms. Monet Johnson completely missed the mark and totally disregarded other “LOYAL” DTLR customer’s time and preparations to be there. No DTLR loyal shopper should have to deal with such “UNACCEPTABLE” lack of customer service around the holidays or any other day for that matter. I couldn’t only think about myself but the other customers who promised their children something special to be let down in this way. DO BETTER PEOPLE!!!!
From a highly frustrated loyal shopper!!
