Dear Mr. Crutchfield,
My name is Doy Dowsett and I recently purchased a pair of Hurts X130 speakers from your company. I had never purchased anything before, although I have searched your awesome catalogs many times, admiring all your great products and claims to your great service. When I decided to order new speaker for my little Miata I thought why not spend a little extra money , get the good service But unfortunately that has not been the case. My speakers showed up, in the allotted time, however after tearing down the car to install them the installation kit was not with the speakers. When I called I was told I needed to order more parts, I said “you mean the parts that were supposed to be included” the rep said oh yes we’ll get that bracket right out and then I realized the harness adaptor wasn’t there either, called back and again the rep said they would get them right out. So apparently “Right Out” doesn’t really mean like over night, apparently it means the slowest way possible.
So Consequently my car is setting with both door panels off NO speakers installed and I continue to wait for the rest of my “Gear” the whole process has been very disappointing and the next time I decide to up grade any of my sound equipment I will buy locally and not waste my time waiting for Crutchfield .
Thanks for taking the time to read my little rant … I know it’s only an $85.00 order and it’s apparent you have bigger fish to fry.
