About Cottage Inn Pizza, History and Headquarters Information
The Cottage Inn Pizza was incorporated back in Ann Arbor in 1948. It started as a coffee shop. It has its headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Cottage Inn Pizza is an American international franchise pizza delivery corporation. Currently, there are more than 50 franchised stores in Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina in the United States, as well as in China. Cottage Inn is quite popular for their specialty gourmet pizzas, along with various crust styles and toppings. The restaurant also has a very good relationship with the Ann Arbor community and it also participates in community service events such as feeding the homeless on Thanksgiving.
I ordered a large, thin crust, chicken artichoke pizza. From the Southfield(Lahser Rd) store. The pizza has burned up black crust. Is there no longer a quality standard?
Last night I ordered a large pizza with extra cheese and Italian sausage, a large Caesar salad and an apple pie pizza for $38.13, with a $5 tip in cash to the delivery person. When I checked my account this morning, $45.75 was on my charge card.
Also, the pizza was terrible. The dough had been rolled out, a small amount of sauce had been placed on the dough with a few pieces of sausage and popped into the oven. When the pie came out, the sauce had absorbed into the crust, they sprinkled shredded cheese on top and packed it up, hoping the cheese would melt. It did not. The pizza was delivered cold.
The salad had old withered green lettuce, very few croutons and the same Parmesan cheese sprinkled on the pizza.
I telephoned Cottage Inn headquarters to complain. I will not be getting another pizza ever again from Cottage Inn. Neither will my friend, who wanted to have dinner with me.
This pizza was the worst pizza I had ever seen or tasted. I should have ordered from Jet’s.
Very disappointed. We ordered our pizza (from the Coldwater MI store) and was told it would be about 45 minutes for delivery. After an hour and a half I called back to check our order and I was told that the driver gave our pizza to someone else so they had to remake it. We never received a phone call to let us know of this problem and we wasn’t offered any compensation such as a discount. Never even received an apology for their error.
Your delivery fee is B’s it does not cost you anymore or less if I pickup or have it delivered. At first I thought this was for the drivers but was told different way to screw your employees.
To whom it may concern: I just want to let you know of our experience with our Coldwater Michigan store. We have been patrons of this store since has opened and are very disappointed in them again tonight. About three weeks ago we ordered pizzas and it was an hour late with it being burnt and cold. I talked to the manager and he apologized and said we would have a $20 credit with my phone number. Imagine my surprise tonight when I ordered again and they had no memo of this. I told them I was very disappointed and would not be getting pizza from them again. They really didn’t care. There are many pizza places around the lake and we will be using them. 😕
My favorite pizza spot for years on 2301 W.Stadium Blvd in Ann Arbor is going down hill under the management team member Angel A.I ordered on line for delivery with tip which was followed up with a phone call mentioned that they only had 1 driver and I was to expect a 2 hr delivery. I decided to pick up my order and as I checked my order at home my pizza had the wrong toppings. I called Angel A. and she wanted me to drive across town AGAIN to get my corrected pizza. I said NO way. Not making another trip. Her second option for me was in store credit. Nope. I requested my money back and that’s when her rudeness exploded out. After a brief argument she offered to refund me $10 for the wrong pizza I had to pick up. I have not received this refund yet. Please resolve this management issue. I prefer cottage inn pizza but I have many good options like Buddy’s pizza down the road.
Terrible service from your Coldwater, Michigan Cottage Inn. They had messed up my pizza and when I requested a replacement the manager actually spoke to me in such a way that I felt really offended and belittled.
