If your idea of quality health care is one Dr. Prakash Vishnu, I suggest you reevaluate your position with that “physician”. After hearing about a 5-minute diatribe he had with his patient, raising his voice to the point of almost shouting, about his personal problems and his family and how he is a “human being”, and his condescending bullying of this cancer patient, not to mention throwing his PA under the bus, and telling the patient that her previous doctor, Dr. Winters, had used the wrong treatment protocol, I feel it only right and necessary to voice my concern. You think that might scare a cancer patient just a little? She is afraid to report anything for fear of some sort of retaliation! What kind of compassionate healthcare is that? It’s sickens me to think that this is the kind of healthcare that your facility would encourage from a “doctor”. He left the patient traumatized after his “exam”, (he didn’t even touch the patient.) He then lied on his post exam notes saying that her and her advocate, my wife, were combative. This because they asked questions about treatment options. She has been crying ever since . This man needs a psychiatric evaluation before he sees another patient. Have you read his reviews? I request a meeting with Mr. Marshall about the treatment his patient got, not to mention his threat to find her another doctor, insinuating that he would release her as his patient. Not that she wants to see him again. Unbelievably unprofessional and condescending behavior of a “physician”! This matter needs to be resolved completely, including, at the least, written apologies from Vishnu and St Michaels. I’m expecting a phone call with an offer of an appointment with Mr. Marshall, whom, I sincerely hope, sees this comment. I/We will not rest until such is the case.
