    I am currently very unhappy with Champion. I purchased a generator May of 2022. Sunday we had a storm which resulted in a power outage. I hooked up my generator and it ran for about 4 hours before it quit. The generator has no fire and won’t start. I called and was on hold for a very long time. I finally left my number for a callback which I received several hours later. While checking my generator I found there is gas in the oil. The person I talked to said this is something that sometimes occurs and that I needed to drain the fluids, replace them and that should fix it. They said they would email me so if that did not fix it I would just reply to the email and someone would get right back with me. Well of course that didn’t work as I knew it wouldn’t since I used to be a certified small engine repair technician. I tried to tell the person I spoke with that for gas to be in the oil there has to be a bigger issue, but hey what do I know. Anyway this was all Monday and I replied to the email on Monday with surprise no response. I emailed again yesterday and again surprise no response. I have medical issues that I am not supposed to be in heat over 80 for any extended amount of time. I had always thought Champion was supposed to be a good company, but I guess that is not correct when it comes to standing behind your warranty. This needs to be taken care of now or I will have no choice but to contact the BBB and file a complaint as well as file a complaint with our attorney generals office that handles consumer/warranty complaints.
