About C2 Education, History and Headquarters Information
C2 Education was incorporated by David J. Kim and Jim Narangajavana in 1997. They began private tutoring in a Harvard dorm room. After completing their graduation in 2000, they started their first physical coaching center in Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland. The company is headquartered in Duluth, Georgia.
C2 Education is an American company that offers to coach in different categories such as subject tutoring, and tutoring for standardized achievement tests, such as the PSAT and SAT, and also the ACT offered by ACT, Inc. Their program is customized according to every student. C2 has its branches all over the world and has in total of 200 centers and 1,000 tutors which serve more than 10,000 students. Unlike other institutes, their mentors don’t just focus on subjects or testing skills, rather they teach life skills which will help students to lead a quality life with confidence.

We are in a same situation with Pleasanton location. My son attended first 3 classes and he did not like the teaching. We requested the refund and submitted the form. It is more than 6 weeks and they are not refunding the money. They are not responding to my phone calls and emails. Please suggest what can I do here. If any one has contact details of higher management, please provide so that I can bring up the issue with them.

After paying $3800, we got a teacher who didn’t speak English and no individualized attention. After my daughter came home crying, we asked for a refund. They promised one for several weeks. Eventually they said they would give a partial refund but they were lying. We have a receipt for a refund that didn’t go through. At this point they are just messing with us. Please have someone from the company contact us.
I have been discussing a dispute and tuition fee refund issue with C2 Education center Directors and issue is not resolved after 2 weeks of talks and emails. I would like to raise the issue and talk to somebody at corporate office before I file a complaint with Consumer affairs department and possibly with a lawyer too. Please let know how corporate people can be contacted on this.

Looks like we are having a similar issue. I can’t get a hold of anyone at Corporate, either.
I wrote about my experience with C2 on a Google Review. I filed a complaint with the local Better Business Bureu, the Consumer and Protection Bureu at 855-411-2372, the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357. The FTC will investigate C2’s practices nationwide for a pattern of wrongful practices. I will also file a complaint with my concerns with my state’s consumer section of the Office of the Attorney General.
I’m hopeful someone will help me, I’m out 12,000.00.

Please let’s do something about this. They are not giving my refund and they keep changing teachers and my son does not do good online.
