BMW was founded in 1913 by Karl Rapp under the name of Bayerische Flugzeugwerke. It was initially an aircraft engine manufacturer. They survived by plunging into the motorcycle engines, railway brakes, and farm equipment. It produced its first motorcycle by 1923.

It changed its name in 1922 to BMW – Bayerische Motoren Werke AG. It has a dark past during the world wars. It used forced labor to produce aircraft engines during world war 2. Its automobile production, which started in the year 1928, altogether stopped during the war.

Most of its factories were bombed heavily during the war, and after the war, it was banned from producing any engines, aircraft, or motorcycle. It survived the second war by making pots, pans, and bicycles.

It resumed its engine production by the early 1950s and spread all over the world. It became a luxury car brand by developing luxury cars and acquiring other luxury car brands like the Rover and Rolls Royce.

 Today BMW is a luxury car brand with many models, including hybrid and electric vehicles in the market. It has many subsidiary brands which are way more luxurious and popular than the BMW.

It offers luxury car brands. Its service includes motorcycles, automobiles, and Motorsports. Its motorcycles are in production since 1921. It even produced a self-driving motorcycle to improve the road safety of the community.

It has a wide range of cars starting from the one series to the eighth series. Most of the modern versions are luxurious and expensive. BMW is known for its expensive cars.

BMW hosts various tournaments for various motorsports, including bike racing, car racing, and high-speed car racing. It provides the teams with all the support needed for them to participate in the event.
