About Bissell, History and Headquarters Information
In 1876, Melville R. BISSELL and his wife, Anna had a small crockery shop in Michigan. They used to clean the dust from the carpet of the shop every day. Tired of it, Melville invented a unique carpet sweeper and patented it, and that is when BISSELL was incorporated. In 1890s BISSELL got a lot of attention by the commoners when this company got the orders by its biggest fan in Queen Victoria, to clean the palace. In 1956, manual carpet shampoo was launched. It made the practice of scrubbing carpets on hands and knees obsolete. It is headquartered in Walker, Michigan, United States.
Bissell is a family-owned business that provides vacuums, steams, sweepers, floor cleaning formulas, Febreze freshness, mops brooms, and carpet cleaning products. The Company serves customers around the globe. Currently, there are more than 2500 associates who are dedicated and passionate and offer superior service.

I bought the Bissel Spinwave not even 3 months ago. Plugged it in to use today and IT DOES NOT WORK!! I have only used itmaybe four times in the last three months and today I plugged it in and it appears it is not receiving any power. I tried several outlets in my home and same result…nothing. Very disappointed!

Hi I need help I purchased a bissell crosswave about three weeks ago there was no multi cleaning roller in the box i purchased from Argos uk I have contacted so many departments in bissell uk and USA including sending two emails to a listed ceo tracey scully uk who never replied and nobody will send me the missing roller Argos say they don’t keep this spare bissell say they are not responsible for my customer care with all the money I have spent on phone calls I could have purchased the cordless version !!!
