I placed an online order on the Billy Sims website and went to pick it up at the NW Expressway location at the specified time. When I arrived, I waited about 5 minutes behind the person in front of me and then asked the lady about my online order. She replied “What order?”, to which I replied “The one I placed half an hour ago and have an email confirmation for”. She then said they had been busy, which I’m sorry 4:15pm isn’t even dinner time and you were NOT busy. You had one customer in front of me. I then decided to sit down for a few minutes and let them prepare my order. They did not prepare my order. Instead they proceeded to help people coming in the front door. I went back up to the lady and asked her to cancel my order and put my money back on my card. She said she didn’t know how to do that. I then asked for her name, she said Terry. She then told me she was new which is a complete lie, considering I’ve ordered from here before and have seen her numerous times. Terry is NOT new!!! I then asked for the General Managers name, I hope she didn’t lie about that too. She said his name is Stuart Grubbs. Anyways, I paid $24 and received no food and no refund. Whoever this “Terry” is, she should be fired. She didn’t offer any empathy or even try to provide a solution. I was just left hanging and had to leave with no food, food that I had already paid for. Now I have to contact my bank and dispute the transaction. I shouldn’t have to do this. Train your employees to provide great customer service. Anyways, Terry was the one female employee, she was working aside a black male employee.
We ate at Billy Sims BBQ in Mustang, OK on Sunday, January 15 at 1:29 pm. Three of us had the 2-Rib Dinner and were served 3 ribs since they were small. Thank you. Although I found my ribs to be on the tough side. The bark on my ribs was tough and chewy. The others said theirs were OK. The meat did fall off the bone and was flavorful.
